I have been using Acer V3-471g (i5) for years and it serves me well but it kinda heats up easily now so I wanna upgrade , been looking into macbooks and dellxps 13 so I would love to have some opinions given before deciding on one.

choose macbook if you want macOS
dell xps13 is a good laptop for your needs but the ram is not upgradable, the ram are soldered to motherboard
the price for dell xps13 with 8gb ram are 6k at dell official website

if you still want 8gb ram, you can consider these laptops

Inspiron 5559 i5 dos I think less than 2600

Yes they do HV graphic.. 5558 using GT 920m

5559 not sure.. Price list update but I deleted it. Gonna request from supplier again
