Anyway I have questions for you...

I intend to transfer ownership of my car from my dad (owner) to me (driver)... Here's what I think of the procedures.

1. Masuk Puspakom for inspection. What other Puspakom inspections for cars without financing (other than B5 and 7)...?
1a. Puspakom inspection they required to koyak tint regardless of VLT count, or just VLT beyond legal limit...?
2. Go JPJ tukar nama, only me go JPJ boleh kah...? My dad super lazy dealing with gov agencies.
3. Settle step 1 and 2 then only deal with insurance, correct boh...? I intend to transfer my insurance from an already sold car which still has 30% NCD.

Is the above procedures correct...?

Further info, car has no loan whatsoever, and it's just name transfer, no buying-selling involved.

extra question, from your experience, for 9 years loan car (local made), usually how many years to use until can safely trade in without having to topup too much (1k below should be ok). no need to be specific.

2) Sure koyak regardless of your vlt.
3) Both must go.
4) Buy insurance and renew your road tax. You can transfer from your old car. Just notify your insurance agent.

To answer your question, you have to pay your loan for at least 5 years for the loan amount and car loan to breakeven. Better to check your full settlement with your bank.

Bro please advise what is the market value for Honda Accord 2011 - 2012 with mileage around 60 - 70K kilometer for 2.0 & 2.4. If buy cash will it be cheaper in this case or more expensive?

One final question... I have a Voltage Stabiliser attached to my car battery. Will this affect Puspakom inspection results as well...?

Yes, high mileage will definately affect the resale value of the car.

For your City S Plus 2014, trace in price would be around rm54k.

You must know that Honda have lowest spec units of city for sale at rm67k OTR after discounts.
