That is alot of discount on first class!!!

too bad i just got back from europe else would have considered this.
*
I just checked and apparently you only need 45,000 EM and 78,000 EM for Business Class and First Class respectively.

Reality is, how often someone intend to visit UK by next month and still haven't booked his or her flight ticket by now?

HLB is the 2nd best alternative to non-premier cards... alliance VI gives 1 mile = RM 2.80 spend.
Problem with these cards is that it's only valid for transfer to Enrich..

Citibank exchange is rather high...
*
Huh? I thought for Alliance VI, every RM1 spent locally will be rewarded with 2x and every RM1 spent overseas will be rewarded with 5x. You will need 6,000 Time Bonus Points for 1,000 Enrich Miles (or 2,000 AirAsia BIG Points). Refer to https://www.alliancebank.com.my/VisaInfinite

But you are definitely right in regards to the limitation of Alliance VI. They only allow transfer to Enrich Miles or AirAsia BIG Points.

Anyway, i thought the MBB Amex 2 Cards is still the highest yield in term of FFP Miles whereby you only need 10,600 TreatsPoints (RM 2,120 spent ) to redeem 1,000 Enrich Miles? So every RM2.12 spent with this card can get you 1 Enrich Miles. Refer to the last page of http://www.maybank2u.com.my/WebBank/TPoints-Redemption-2.pdf

Thanks for the heads up. Any idea what's the promo code to use to enjoy the buy one night get one night free or how does it work? I tried to search https://www.visaluxuryhotels.com/ for Conrad Bangkok but it seems that they quoted in USD and it is more expensive as compare to book direct at Hilton website. hmm.gif

Guys need some input

I am about to book a flight with Air France / KLM (As much as i tried to book with either One World / Star Alliance for purpose of collecting miles, the flight time just doesn't work out for me), i noticed that in Air France booking page it allows their passenger to input Enrich as FFP.

We get to earn miles with Enrich flying with Air France / KLM?'

If it is there, means we will get miles award?
*
Yes, you could earn miles when you fly with MH Partner Airlines (http://www.malaysiaairlines.com/my/en/enrich/earn-enrich-miles/partner-airlines.html) but do note if you are a frequent flyer, you wound't get OW perks (no elite sector, no OW lounge access, no priority boarding ....). But if you book they Business Class, you still get the perks like lounge access, priority boarding....) so you will be fine! biggrin.gif

i found that page too after some googling, thanks.

i am just Enrich Blue, didn't wana have another FFP that i will not use. Ah good at least miles not wasted.
*
Lol, if you are Enrich Blue the it totally makes sense to credit these miles into Enrich coz you wouldn't be getting the addtional 25% miles for flying MH anyway!

not really. MH flight now a days quite full, and fares are very expensive.

For example

I am looking for KUL - PVG flight. MH quoted RM4500++, and no tickets available
if transit thru SG
KUL-SG-PVG, fly SQ, fare only RM25++

really dont understand.
*
Huh? I thought we were still on the redemption topic? If not then i am afraid you are not comparing apple to apple. With Enrich redemption, you are able to get a confirmed ticket rightaway unlike CX or SQ but if are looking for cheaper fare not through redemption, you might wanna consider China Eastern Airlines too.

Hope sifu can clarify me.thank
*
Hilton Premium Club and Hilton HHonors are two different programs. The complimentary Hilton Premium Club has nothing to do with Hilton HHonors gold.

I just got this email this morning... looks like no more 15% discount, upside is no more YQ on SQ flights. Yay. biggrin.gif

According to OMAAT, most of the award price increases seem to be about 30%, after factoring in the 15% online booking discount being eliminated. However, that’s somewhat offset by the elimination of fuel surcharges.

First/Suites Class:
New York/Houston to Singapore — current price: 93,500 miles / new price: 120,000 miles
Los Angeles/San Francisco to Singapore — current price: 91,375 miles / new price: 118,000 miles
New York to Frankfurt — current price: 57,375 miles / new price: 76,000 miles

Business Class:
New York/Houston to Singapore — current price: 72,250 miles / new price: 92,000 miles
Los Angeles/San Francisco to Singapore — current price: 68,000 miles / new price: 88,000 miles
New York to Frankfurt or Houston to Moscow — current price: 48,875 miles / new price: 65,000 miles

Economy Class:
New York/Houston to Singapore — current price: 31,875 miles / new price: 40,000 miles
Los Angeles/San Francisco to Singapore — current price: 29,750 miles / new price: 38,000 miles
New York to Frankfurt or Houston to Moscow — current price: 17,000 miles / new price: 22,500 miles

for me, i don't mind the slight point increase cos i'm stuck with KF miles anyway. Having not to pay crazy surcharges is more important.

Wow, i have done a dummy search for KUL-LAX return in Business Class and found the following:

user posted image

Does it mean by the removal of YQ, the sub-total for return KUL-LAX in Business Class will become 176,000 miles + MYR 463.10 miles (instead of 136,000 miles + MYR 2,955.10 now)?

Hi Sifus, I have been given a choice of 500K Asia Miles or 25K cash vouchers by a bank as a reward for investment. May I know which is a better choice in terms of dollar value? If I am not wrong, the air miles should give better value dollar wise but I am not a member of AM (yet) and I am wondering if 500K miles can fetch 2 award tickets on Cathay biz classfrom KL - New York? Many thanks
*
Wow, one hell of a lucky guy!
If you travel a lot then 500k AM is definitely a viable option. Also, 500k AM could easily get you 3 return business class seats KL to New York.

mind sharing how you collect so many miles?  rclxms.gif
i have visited your blog, you have extensive travels in premium cabin so you must have a whole heap of miles if you didn't pay for the tickets in cash.
*
Lol, maybe he is just like you - A big shot that banks suddenly offer few millions frequent flyer miles as rewards?

Call am means call Hong Kong?....
*
There's a 1800 number to call from Malaysia, https://www.asiamiles.com/am/en/about/contact. The only thing that i am not too sure is what the charges will be if you dial this 1800 from your mobile phone but it should be free from a fixed line.

Sorry, dumb question. Can we convert Enrich miles into AM? If yes, how? Thanks for advice!
*
No, you can't convert EM into AM. It is a one way traffic but you could use your EM (of course with horrible conversion rates) to redeem OneWorld flights that include Cathay and DragonAir...

Credit the airmiles to you (or the name of the credit card holder) then redeem tickets for anyone you like including your friends or colleagues.
