if use to redeem for hotel stay, still worth it?

Do hotel research on places you plan to visit. If there's hotel chain that allow points redemption then you work out the plan to purchase that points. This kind of promo will be very common. This year alone I remember Hilton already 3 times they launch this same 100% promo

This unlimited pass caters to only a particular type of traveller, maybe rich businessmen that fly a lot. You need to fly very very often to make it worthwhile
It says in 1994 this pass was sold for RM12 million, and even then it was discontinued shortly after.

I don't think airlines dare offer such unlimited passes anymore. Say one travels first class that costs RM30k, 26 times a year. After 40 years that's RM31 million haha.
USD250k was a steal.

I think this 25k loophole has been closed recently

SQ is getting tougher nowadays, of course depends on destination but IMO still a lot tougher compared to before they changed to the 2 weeks waitlist results

You might want to consider Hong Leong Emirates card. Their World Elite Card gives 1 Emirates Miles per RM4 spending. Top up for e wallets are given points, as well as insurance, utilities, etc. Only no points for Government and Jompay payments.

There is minimum spending of RM200k, but any spending (even government spending included in RM200k even though no points given) to be entitled for free business class return ticket to Europe. There is also high annual fee of around RM1800, which can't be waived.

For e-wallet payments and payments which are given 1 point by M2P, HLB Emirates card gives better yield.

Currently have Maybankard 2 Premier credit cards + AMEX Platinum Metal Charge Card.

Need cards with excellent conversion ration to frequent flier miles. Any bank will do, if need to be Priority or Premier with the bank to get the card also don't mind. Most expenditure on flight tickets and hotel stays.

citi prestige is actually pretty good card, but on my POV, it is only quite worthy if you have more than 10 years relationship with citibank, and being citigold customer... 40% is quite an extensive points per ringgit...
given that, you get
- evergreen points
- extra 40% per ringgit
- extra 250k free points on annual spend of 240k
- free extra night stay privilege

what makes it looks more worthy is that now having promo if you being citigold + get citi prestige card, gets 750k points welcome gift

afaik, it is 7000 per 1000 airmile points.

similar to PremierMiles, doubled points for forex spending. 1points per RM1 local spend, 2points per RM1 equiv. forex spend.

considering you eligible for 40% extra points, and spend RM250k per year..

it is RM2.9/mile local spend or RM1.8/mile forex spend

There are both toilets and showers inside TPR, just that in separate cubicles, which is a joke for such a luxury place.
No complaint for the shower itself.

Only started to enjoy shower in lounge since last year.
Did try Dubai Emirates Business lounge, the bathroom there is good enough.

Still waiting for HKG F cabana as well as shower on sky with Emirates (should have enough miles by next year, hopefully A380 is flying again).

This is the ANA Suite shower ... personally, it's the best I've experienced.





Forgot to add - it's got both the WC (with the excellent Japanese smart toilet bidet) & the shower in the same cubicle... SQ needs to buck up!
