QUOTE(pyy @ May 11 2016, 12:07 PM) Is not bcz the board soak inside the water then it will lose the termite proof chemical, is juz that wood is a food for termite. But before termite attack your board, they will first choose the softer wood which is skirting and ur furniture. Once around that area the softer wood is finished, termite will go for harder wood like ur Laminate floor board. If you want water proof products with wood grain design you have option like vinyl or pvc Flooring, wpc Flooring, wood design tile or solid wood. Personally I dun recommend pvc or plastic Flooring for residential use due plastic and pvc have degradation problem which cause cancer or when during fire and it got burned it will release life hazard gas. So you suggest pure wood laminate for raised platform in the bedroom? |

Hi, I'm planning to laminate my 9x10 room to make it as a home recording studio. I was quoted 7.99/sqf for wpc. Is this reasonable? But the downside is their minimum purchase is 500sqf. If anything lesser, will have to pay 300-400 for installation. Is there any other place accept purchase below 100sqf? Thanks

QUOTE(pyy @ Jun 25 2016, 12:11 PM) From my personal point of view, I think laminate flooring can provide a house warm feel within a reasonable budget. For household, wood raised platform is more than rnough. Bro, can suggest something for master bedroom and bedroom 1? Pricing wise and laminate properties? Thanks Floor plan as attached. Thanks. RM 4.99 per sf supply and install, swiss imported, certified quality (not base on salesman talk), non toxic, because the room is small, so juz light colour will do.Floor plan as attached. Thanks. |

QUOTE(mavhacii @ Jul 24 2016, 10:51 AM) If you have time pls google pvc flooring advantage and disadvantage. Personally I do sell vinyl, but i dun recommend for household due to health concern and also with with 4-5mm thichkness, the click is like 3mm, it juz wont last. |
