rclxms.gif well done....looks like good timing.... thumbup.gif
1 is in the top 5 highest returns and the other one is in the top 5 lowest returns... notworthy.gif
just keep close watch on amprecious metal....looks like very volatile (up down very fast in a short span of few days period)

btw why Ponzi 1.0?
*
Sorry ah, should not mentioned Ponzi 1.0 as it is not in my main portfolio but in beneficiary portfolios. My signal said top-up time, so top-up I'll.

Why did you decided to sell GTF?
*
My signal said get out of global sector. Not an easy decision as I'm quite fond of this fund and signal sometime can be wrong as well.

What is ur signal?
*
It is based on Relaxed Investor strategy on the premise that if you always stay on the lead horse (fund/ETF), you'll be ahead. It requires you to hop onto lead horse all the time.

QUOTE(river.sand @ Feb 10 2016, 04:43 PM)
There are 2 schools of thoughts.
The first one is 'buy low sell high';
The second one is 'buy high sell higher', also known as 'don't catch the falling knife'.

Investors from the first school would be happy to buy when the economy/market is bad; whereas those from the second school would sell.

We really can't tell you whether it is good time to buy. You have to make up your mind.
*
Incorrect description of "buy high sell higher." It means you wait until the market confirm going up, i.e., bottom is over, then you buy on the way up. The concept is buying into strength, not into weakness.

What is the rational behind investing is commodity sector?
*
Commodity has been in the bear market for so long due to USD has been on super bull, China growth slowed down etc. Some analyst believe that commodity is at or near bottom already and may start to go into its long journey up in the next 6-12 months. You want to catch this golden train but make sure commodity is already in an up trend before jumping on it.

Saudi, Qatar, Venezuela and Russia agree to freeze output.
Oil prices should rally, and ringgit would strengthen. Which means some of the funds we invest in will be more red...
*
I read that Iran need to ratify as well to make it work. Going by current Saudi-Iran relationship, don't think Iran would go along but increasing output instead.

I think it is best ask kimyee......he made some good entries timing on these...
the last time,...he said....let the profits ride..
kimyee73, what is your latest foresights/the moving averages tells you?
can share?
*
Ya, still riding. But don't follow me as I'll take profit only when it started to go down. Why, because you don't know when is the top. I don't know if this is the start of a new uptrend for gold, too earlier to tell. So stay nimble for now. You might want to take profit or exit now if that will make you feel more secure.
