DiGi chat told me Best 2016 is the only plan which has SLL right now. Also I was previously on V3 but had to change plans to get the SLL option available. They lied to me...? sad.gif

Why OneXOX?
*
It could be that SLL is no longer available for V3, and that if you've to upgrade in order to subscribe to SLL, Best 2016 is the only version that can be upgraded to? I won't know the exact reason since I don't have V3 to check.

When you upgraded your version, was Best 2016 the only one available in the list?

#Hotlink 365 is no longer available. Tunetalk 1 year extension is RM28 per year.

Try ONEXOX ... 1st time mnp to onexox will immediately get 28 months validity and every 1 year extension is RM25 only. Can stack your validity extension for any number of years if you have enough credits.

*
Hotlink 365 is still available for the Bagus plan, and anyone who manages to get their Fast switched over. And IIRC, there's a promotion on Tunetalk's validity extension at RM10/year until end-June 2017. nod.gif

If that's indeed true, why can't xox puts it in the website? Clearly so that everyone can see?
*
Strange that you should feel anything that's not on the website doesn't exist at all.

Throughout my years of checking official websites of the various telcos, there have been things that I know of or using, that are not on them.

I won't elaborate but can only say that you need to be using the different telco services and actually check their websites frequently for changes, to see if everything is listed there. nod.gif

DiGi 1 year validity  look like RM38?
*
Or RM68 or RM108... depending on your Digi Best version.

Maybe next year will become RM138 for even newer ones?

Can anybody explain about Tron prepaid ? About validity and IDD call rates.
*
No idea about IDD call rates... check their website or call CSO.

Validity is straightforward - extended for 1 year with minimum RM10 top-up. Unless they've changed in recent months...

New subscribers means new subscribers or old subscribers that change to this new plan also can?

If those old subscribers that renew and still get free IDDIC, worth it to keep it that way.
*
IDDIC is auto-renewed every month, so existing subscribers will just continue to use.

For anyone not holding any of those old plans at the moment, the only way to get one is to get it from an existing user. If you go out and buy a new SIM pack, you can only get the 2017 version (SLL@108). If a user upgrade his/her old plan, I believe only the latest version will be available in the list (to choose).

IDDIC... I think it'll disappear once you change plan...

How about New Best v2 SLL365 @ RM68? Does this still available for new subscribers? This one have basic internet right?

Those old plan are not forced to upgrade to new plan every year? My friend told me last time every year he want to return subscribe SLL, Digi will force him to upgrade the plan, else he won't see the option to subscribe SLL.
*
New subscribers can only get the 2017 version with SLL@RM108 now. When you buy a new SIM pack, you can only get the one and only latest version of the prepaid plan when you activate the SIM card (Prepaid Best or Prepaid Live, and we're discussing Prepaid Best here). That is to say, once a SIM card is activated, you can check the version and it'll only show you the latest one - controlled by DiGi.

AFAIK, DiGi doesn't announce when they "upgrade" to a new version. I once helped a friend activate his new SIM card then subscribed SLL@RM68. Few days later, I read here that they've changed to 2016 version with SLL@RM108. Just as well that I decided not to wait for the extended validity after topping up his card with RM70 in order to do the SLL subscription.

Forced upgrade doesn't happen to every old plan... maybe only those that DiGi feels they're too old. Many here are still using the v4 (or maybe even v3) that's older than New Best v1.

Thanks for the explanation.
Seems it's not worth to buy new sim to get SLL with data now.

What my friend told me is few years back. Usually SLL is RM30, but in order to get SLL he have to upgrade his plan which cost him another RM8, so in actual he have to spend RM38 to get SLL every year.
*
Not really true these days that RM38 consists of SLL and upgrade costs.

My friends and I have been getting SLL for the past few years at RM38 and our plan versions have remained the same, not upgraded.

How to subscribe for it? I asked Digi CS but the CS said they don't offer suck plans.
*
Subscribe for what? Are you asking about IDDIC or Best 2017?

IDDIC is no longer available for new subscription. I think they stopped it... last year(?).

Best 2017 is the latest Digi Prepaid Best version/plan.

I saw there is a new promo by Digi that only requires you to pay RM188 then can stay active for the whole year, comes with data every month also, it's called the Long Life Super Prepaid if not wrong.
*
Something like this?

http://community.digi.com.my/t5/Prepaid/Su...Life/ta-p/13004

AFAIK, freebies like data are based on individual plan/version, which user can use so long as the line is active, regardless of method used in ensuring that.

Do you know if Celcom Xpax RM1 one day validity extension works just like DiGi Prepaid ? As in the grace period will be automatically renewed for another 50 days in the case of Celcom after the expiry of the RM1 one day validity extension.
*
I'm using the XPAX option to send 1DAY to 28882 to reset the grace period for my Magic SIM card. nod.gif

Active for that 1 day, then 50 days' grace period.

On the first page of this thread, the first response shows the below:-

Digi New Best v1 Prepaid (I went with this)
Validity 365 days - Super Long Life 38/yr

I am currently on Digi New Best v2 Prepaid plan. The Super Long Life validity (365 days) costs RM68. Why is this higher than the one above? Is there another Digi plan I can change to in order to get a lower 365 days validity?
*
AFAIK, Digi won't let you downgrade to the older plans (now known as "not available anymore") that have SLL @RM38.

Between New Best v1 and v2, I think the difference is that you've free basic internet with v2. Do you?

Hi, i'm still keeping a Hotlink Youth Club number. I use this in my phone as a second sim, mainly for the TAC numbers only and because i like the number. Is there any plan with long validity to just keep the number active? I barely call people so i'm looking at other options instead of Hotlink's validity at Rm33/year.

My first sim has calls/sms/data and it's RM38. Even the free calls/data hardly finishes for me biggrin.gif
*
OneXOX comes to mind too.

But take note that once you MNP and wants to return to Hotlink, you'll not be able to have the Validity365 option anymore, with the latest plan/s.

How to increase the validity then, with minimum expenses on it?
*
Hotlink RED doesn't have Validity 365 (available for old Bagus plan) nor free weekend data (available for Hotlink Fast).

The only way I can think of, if you want to keep it as Hotlink RED, then it's only to do the regular top-up. shakehead.gif

I have been thinking to switch it into Digi via online then buy a validity
thumbsup.gif
Not wise. I think I will switch to other telco
Very costly... even a miss-call cost RM 0.15

Thanks
*
You're right, that's an expensive option.

Note though, that validity for the latest Digi Prepaid costs RM108 for 365 days.

Old plans have it at RM38 still, slightly newer ones at RM68, but those like 2016 and 2017 (and whatever latest) are RM108 though with 1GB/month free basic internet by default.

My maid just got a Maxis Hotlink plan. Does Maxis Hotlink plan have a 12 months validity plan ?
Or would it be better to port to XOX plan for the 28 month validity ?

No validity extension option for new Maxis Hotlink plans these days.

can anyone explain what is DE and MA account

need to topup separately?? whats the diff??

read so many time.. but still didnt understand

thank you

Put simply...

DA and MA - Just top up as normal, amount will be spread out accordingly/automatically. See the table on their website for how this is done.

One of them, when there's enough credit inside, will allow you to make calls at a discounted rate. Again, it's mentioned here before, or check their website.

When you purchase/subscribe something, amount will be automatically deducted from one, then the other when the first one doesn't have enough credit. Again, don't have to bother where it's going to be deducted, so long as total balance covers the cost.
