QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 30 2016, 09:14 PM) Foreigners in my office always apply for Maybank credit cards. Just need an employment confirmation letter from employer, of course 3 months payslip, work permit and passport to apply. I haven't seen any rejection yet, from Plat, Visa Signature to M2Premier Cards. The credit limit is usually very close to your monthly basic salary with the ratio 1:1. May require for Public Bank and if other banks you will need to submit. Which card do you intend to apply? The normal visa gold... salary wise confirm over the 24k pa requirement

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 30 2016, 10:56 PM) Erm, not sure which card attracts you but there are many better cards out there. Just apply with payslip. Wise is my first choice haha... will apply that later... normally 3 months payslip right?

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 7 2016, 10:30 PM) Well, you should apply for deferment from PTPTN when you continued with Degree. I applied bro and was approved. But was told by officer that the deferment only applied to blacklist not CCRIS lol

QUOTE(dannychen @ Sep 7 2016, 10:41 PM) don't blame PTPTN, you borrow from them, you pay them back. as simple as that. must well blame yourself why borrow money from them? Do u even know my case? I was CCRIS-ed when I am studying. U expect a student who getting study loan to pay back at the same time?

QUOTE(fruitie @ Dec 24 2016, 01:21 PM) What's great with that card? I never find OCBC cards are interesting. 0.5% unlimited retail rebates, auto 3months 0% IPP(500>S<1000), auto 6months 0% IPP(5S>1000),First year annual fee waiver... Current promotion is free 28" luggage bag & laptop bag, if BT >RM5000 approved then another 20" luggage bag

QUOTE(fruitie @ Dec 25 2016, 02:19 AM) I see, OCBC is known for stinginess when it comes to AF waiver. You may want to take note of this. Oh... I thought can apply if above certain swipe or amount use?

Only have public bank because of housing loan hence they give the credit card together with the loan. Wonder why keep being reject? Your credit record nice? Have you check your ccris?
