If you are a real Malaysian and especially from SJKC, then you will know how suffer SJKC in this country survive in Malaysia. Government wont build a new SJKC. And this SJKC is moved from other place. And government wont build SJKC. This post has been edited by mingyew: Oct 5 2016, 10:34 AM

And this SJKC is moved from other place. And government wont build SJKC. When I went to sjkc during the 90s, we went thru fund raising to upgrade the school and build new school hall. Even the basic table and chair is in bad condition while my friend from normal sk having good condition class rooms. The allocation for school maintenance is limited for sjkc, i believe the same for sjkt. I'm not sure how different it is today for the maintenance. But we all know for sure no new sjkc, so this Chinese school is a relocation from a rural area near taiping. Their aim is to save the school and benefit more students in cyberjaya as there are too few students left in the original location.

Only the salary of the staff including teachers are paid by government.. Others stuffs like table, chair, teaching equipment, computers, paying utility bills etc. The school needed to find the money..

As i know as long as is government school it should all kautim by government, isn't it? As my own experience, my school is existing school. We needed to raise fund over years by having flea market, concert etc to raise sufficient funds to upgrade the school. New classrooms, demolish those old wooden classrooms and built multiple storey concrete classrooms. That's the sad reality for jenis kebangsaan school. Anyway, good thing is many non Chinese is also benefiting from Chinese school as more and more non Chinese go to these schools nowadays. It's going to be more muhibbah than kebangsaan school soon coz there are lesser Chinese and Indian in kebangsaan school.

Other costs.....own kautim....they dun care less.... Anywhere after 6 yrs of primary school...one still need to go to govt school to complete the education...unless fama sibeh rich....go private school.

SJKC have to kaotim their own at all cost, hardware and software, regardless whatever condition. and moving school is just a joke, government wont approve new sjkc to be built, so have to move the mini school to urban area, and all the cost bear by own, single cents also government wont give.

Under the Education Act 1996, government aided schools have the right to access to fund allocation and capital grants (also known as administration fund and development fund). Some srjkc opt out as fully aided school to maintain the board of directors.
