Going to start renovation journey starting today. Lots of equipment had just been unloaded and work is about to begin.
Is going to be a 6 months long journey, hopefully to be shorter as possible. Well will start posting some pics up soon.

Bro why dont u share the quotation price as well hehe
*
Is really not so nice to share the price as the contractor is a friend. I am not sure if the price he give me is more of "friend" price.

it differs from council to council...i think becoz ur neighbour is doing a 2 storey whereas everyone is 1 storey oni..so in away ur neighbour obstruct sunlight, views, and enroach ur privacy..from 2nd storeyy maybe can see ur jamban or what.

so when u all approve, later cannot do anything mahh..coz everyone edi gave consent...this follow bylaw rules liao...in UK n Aussie they are very strict like this
*
Do agree with on the single and double story but my housing area is all double story. Is just extending to the front or back

I think in MBPJ not only renovation, even changing land title from residential to office also need to seek consent from neighbours. I also got letter as houses behind mine is facing main road and want to change land title to office.
And recalled in Bandar Utama, owner extended their back of the house illegally and MBPJ came and tear down their extended part of the house.
Although the extension is actually underground but kena oso.
*
Well if you do illegally than is not right.

Finally had a chance to do some update after 1 week. Things had been progressing well even with this raining weather. Well is not even 1/10 of the work, very long more to go.

Envy your man cave... For me, I have to sacrifice 1 bedroom to convert into... "Study/work purposes" (term to use in front of gf)... So, only left 1 guest bedroom.
*
Don't say that, for me I don't have guest bedroom at all.
