No, just thinking of skylight. No louvre. My concern is leaks but yours seems to work ok.

It's OK, as long as I know there won't be any problems. I was thinking of above the staircase with an indoor garden below. My purpose of skylight is to give more brightness to the whole house.

I think you mentioned you wall mount all your surround speakers? Could you recommend the mounting that you used? I am planning to do conceal wires and wall mount my speakers too but having hard time to find reliable wall mount that can angle towards the listening position
