Yes have to have bigger budget to everything or else will always have to think again what to do. The skylight is 8 feet X 4 feet. Is actually very small as the room is 520 sq feet. Anyway will have openable roof system for the skylight. Is up to me control how much light to come in

I am thinking the same thing for my master room.
Natural sunlight - save electricity.  Mine plan to go down to G-floor.
Kinda like skylight tube.

Only concern - if burglar come from roof - how if no grill?
What kind of tempered glass are u using, and how do you control amount of light comes in? (manual?)
*
I had fixed motorized louvers. So I can control if want sunlight to come in or not

Plan for service route, many people ignore this, how to place ladder, accessibility and safety line.

I foresee in near future we going to be like in the west, many of the repair needs to by DIY because hiring a contractor is going to be too pricey. I realise that when I did my window cleaning before CNY

I'm still in planning stage to extend my front porch, to take up 2 storey.
This is same with all neighbours like this sample.

Question, if i do a staircase to the roof, and make it a chill area, without any structure, is it legal?
Maybe just some pole, as a perimeter fence (not to fall off).  brows.gif

Does that need MBPJ approval?
*
Not sure but I will think it won't be approve
