Yes, according to Affin Bank, FD depositors will need to open a saving account as a prerequisite
to place FD in Affin, FD interest will pay upon FD maturity. FD depositors have an option whether to
credit interest to saving account upon FD maturity, or credit principal + interest to saving account
and etc..

I just done 4.5% 6mths with hlb mv, no queue. Gave them a check from mbb, maturity on 15 Aug, I can see immediately in hongleongconnect.

oh, the islamic fd is till end feb. confirm the start date if u use check. one forumer confirmed start same date. some other said islamic start 2 days later using check.

if not mistaken, 1 month tenure need min RM5k. 2 or more tenure months, need min RM1k
