As darkdelivery mention, change those items. When your coolant leaks out unexpectedly two things can happen, either you realize the engine character starts to change or you dont realize and you end up overheating the engine. An overheated engine could result in a very expensive repair if you end up blowing a headgasket and or wraping the engine head. that would set u back lot more $$$. If ur car is 8 yrs old and havent change the water pump and radiator hoses i suggest you do it and flush the cooling system too. Prevention is better then cure. All the best..
