i got one problem la, when i open the uv ccfl, y just look blue colour inside only.......? the all uv cable & fan inside look dark, no reflection, no uv effect is it cause my acrylic is blue colour tinded one?

can u try without the side panel, is it still the same ??

everything very clear lo & shining... is it tinted arcylic will like that?

u tinted ur arcylic thats why like that.... !!!!
so for uv setup, never tinted ur arcylic ..... if normal ccfl, ok !!!

that is original come with casing de la, i never tinted it... so have to change a new piece of arcylic lo!

i try tinted my side panel last time but when use uv, hard to see the effect so i take it off

same like me lo my 2 blow hole flying already

so no choice lo, have to change another clear colour arcylic... so just bought a 4mm thick arcylic...

by the way, i mod the side panel together, cos i feel that the size of the original window too small. want to make it more larger, wider vision...

1st, have to mask the side panel... mark down which part u wan to cut...





just bought a jig saw from tesco, wan try to use this time....





but still like angle grinder very much, more easier la... more easy to handling! may be i get use already!





drilled some hole at the window side for the screw...






now wan to paint it again lo... before paint it have to sand by sand paper 1st!





here is the arcylic i bought, this time i use angle grinder to cut it lo... measure the size first...





mark then drill some hole again...

nice cutting, u really change the acrylic window just cause of the ccfl thingy

try with the window on... see how will it look..

he's not only bought the acrylic...read properly, there's also new jigsaw for this project..

BTW..j@y!! can u tell me the screw size that tighten the arcrylic..or u're using rivett..

ya lo, cos i change my ide, sata cable, fan to uv type already, if cant see the uv effect came out very sayang la...

actually the arcylic that i bought is for my another casemod- the white case... but now i exchange both, the new one for this case, the blue tinded one i pasang to the white case, no need watse ma........





later i will upload... cos still wan cut 2 blow hole there....





hihihi, the jig saw is the cheap one, rm4+ only la... cos my house no ma, sometime i also need to use it for other thing, not all because this project la!

for this case i use the original screw. another case i just use the normal screw, 1 screw that got a big head & 1 nut... but i dont know the size, how about i take the screw & nut photo for u?

hahaha, nasib baik, if not onli waste of money lo... why didn't u bought the colored transparent type acrylic from the bulk, if u willing to wait for it + bare any damages done during transit

i know he bought a new jigsaw, but the jigsaw can use multiple times, i was suprised bout the acrylic thingy, he bought a new one onli cause of the uv effect, luckily he can use it on other case mod

may i know who is selling colored transparent type acrylic?
