Hey all, I have a Pineng Cable PN-301, looks like this, is it safe to use with iPhone? Will it hurt the battery?

Looks alright to me. So long it has the lightning port it would be ok.There are many manufacturers that supplies cables for handphones. I for one would look out for those cables that comes with "MFI" certifications. MFI = Made for iPhones are those cables which have been tested by apple and certified safe to be used with iPhones. These are the cables you should be getting.

I am using the nylon braided Anker MFI cable. Its RM70 but very tough, durable and also faster charging. Then there is the Aukey braided cables these are also recommended. Price around RM55 and compliments their qualcomm fast chargers very well. Bought through Lazada.

Guys any1 using battery life test to heck their battery level?

Mine got battery wear 5.5% issit normal after half year?

There are ways to tell whether the refurbished models or not. If from Apple themselves, refurbished apple certified handphones have 1 year apple warranty. There is no such thing as Grade A or 3 stars etc etc, these are all local refurbished and some have warranty whereas some do not have but are reflective of the offer price.

Apple mentioned somewhere in their website that batteries should have a health of not less than 80% capacity after the 2nd year of ownership. So with your calculations above, it looks good.

Why when I raise lock and unlock it using Touch ID..it unlocked cuz I saw the tiny padlock icon on top of the lock screen suddenly displays unlocked..but the screen straight away goes black and locked.. need to repeat and happen a few times in a row..

Probably bakground apps are still working(downloading etc) after you put it to standby.

hello all, i dont know how to make the 3D touch work, i try on the message app but all i get is some blurred out background with no extra options. Tried reseting the phone, didn't work either. I remembered somehow accessing it when i first got the phone but now it doesn't seem to work, is there a technique to touch it?

And yes, my 3D touch setting is switched on.

Please don't mislead. Apple refurbished unit is a replacement set given to user who having problem with their phone. Warranty will follow the owner previous phone warranty if it's more then 3 months or 3 months max if it's about to expired.
