get 6s, because 6s processor performance better than 6, n also 6s have 2gb ram, 6 only 1gb ram 

obviously better get 6s if you can afford. else 6 is also a good option. get SE if you want 6s performance on 5s size.

I'm also long hard-core Android user, now using SE, ios is indeed something android won't be having for now and vice versa.

For 6, my sis in law facing ghost touch. Pretty common issue as far as my finding. Just be careful.

I'm sure both iphone 6 and 6s would be able to handle whatsapp well 
Ppl are more concern about gaming and multitasking (due to the RAM differences between the 2 phones)

It's worth to jump ship to iOS. Even more worthier if you jailbreak it

For my needs:

1. Multi-whatsapp or multi everything.
2. More detailed battery usage.
3. Customize or add more icons in control center (swipe up from bottom)
4. Data usage widget from notification area
5. Change boot logo, carrier logo
6. Easier to change ringtone/any tones
7. Swipe on keyboard to go to previous sentence without the need to press the sentence to edit
8. Theme
9. Add more icons in dock and in page
10. Ads block even in youtube that have ads in every videos

There are a lot of tweaks i cant list it here. It's far better than rooted Android because it have it's own Cydia to download tweak. If Android you need to flash this and that, a hassle for me.

6S Plus would be better in the long run as it has twice the RAM of the 6 Plus. When the iPhone 7 launches officially there will be plenty of sellers in our Garage Sale, am sure you can get a good bargain there

Anyone 6s facing battery drain suddenly from 20% become auto off and it will show that red battery logo need to charge?
My two friend facing the same problem and one of them warranty end tomorrow.
Is this problem is battery problem only?
