Hello guys. Currently Im using 6S+. I just bought 64gb and the same model/spec for my wife yesterday. First, I registered using my Gmail account as Apple ID. After completed registration process, I've tried to download apps (whatsapp, etc.), nothing happened. This was on cellular data plan and I dont think that my internet was the problem. My wife on the other hand, able to download any apps. So I decided to change my email to example@icloud.com by resetting my phone later and it worked. I can download any apps. The bad part is, PRE-INSTALLED apps are missing. How do I know? My wife got all this pre-installed apps. Been searching through the net, nothing can solved my problem. Please help. Super noob here. Thanks.

QUOTE(manypplwan @ Apr 21 2016, 01:13 PM) Hello all, anyone use 6S without any screen protector? How's the screen fares against daily wear n tear without protection? My previous iphone 6 got some hairline scratch on my first few weeks of use. And I'm a very careful person when it comes to gadgets. I think 6s and 6 are having similar qualities for the screen Best to still use a TG

I just dropped my phone yesterday, without a case (just camera ring attached) but nothing happen to the screen. Meanwhile ip6 previously, dropped inside car also break Edit: idk about hairline scratch tho This post has been edited by manypplwan: Apr 21 2016, 03:08 PM

Whether glass breaks or not is quite dependent on the point of impact. And no 2 drops are ever the same. This post has been edited by PeeEl: Apr 21 2016, 05:13 PM

I would care more about protecting the screen from scratches than drops (we have cases for that)
So yeah, will recommend to have the TG applied.
To each their own.

Any forumer or shop in Penang offer service to replace glass for iPhone 6S Plus? Only glass, not the whole LCD set. I saw some YouTube video, it's doable but needs specialized skill.

QUOTE(benny888 @ Apr 19 2016, 10:02 AM) However both sets has similar problems : the forced 3D touch is just "hopeless" - I often need to press down more than once to get it activated. Also unlike my previous ip5 and ip6, pressing down the icons to get it wiggle was often too a not a one touch task. However these are just minor issues Could take some getting used to. I had that problem for a couple weeks but i've gotten used to the amount of pressure required. QUOTE(attw @ Apr 24 2016, 05:24 PM) Anyone knows any browsers that can see the comments on lowyat.net articles? Can't see them in Safari these days but previously can... Eh...maybe you need to clear your Safari cache or reset your phone settings (just the settings, not factory reset.)
