what is definite, 2GB is always better than 1GB.
as apps and iOS itself are always updated and growing in terms of function, memory size and requirements, moving towards 2GB is a late but needed move.

coming from iPhone 6 to 6s... things are definitely speedier and snappier for me. if u are someone who juggles through many apps at a time, u will definitely appreciate the 'extra space' of ram.

For iphone 6s, it's a matter of not having to cycle through the past open apps and it reloading. Not so much an issue actually.

For plus models, coming from iPhone 6 plus myself, it's a lot. I can feel the lagginess happening typically only experienced after 3-4 years of the product cycle. Now, 1-2 years itself, I'm feeling it. iPhone 6 plus is underpowered. iPhone 6s plus is what it meant to be.

in terms of loading, launching etc. 2gb ram wont refresh your safari page after awhile lol  tongue.gif

my 2 cents, for ios 9++ idevices definitely need 2GB of ram, at least.......

Thank you guys biggrin.gif

I'm deciding between the rumored SE and 6s... if and probably SE doesn't have 2 GB then I will go for 6s

Dude, read my earlier post
non plus model - 1GB => okay!!! Only downside, used apps may reload when returning to it.
plus model - 1GB => definitely not okay.

I figure it could be because of the higher resolution (non plus model is like 720p-ish). Unless SE has higher resolution, it's okay.
main deciding factor between the rumored SE and 6s, I would say is the size of the phone. some really can't fathom 6/6s size saying "it's too big" and plus models as "humongous"

thank you! didn't read carefully

The size yeah I like 5/5s better than 6/6s biggrin.gif

Yeah, just when the SE was announced, I was weighing my options between the SE and the 6S and 3D Touch was one of the factor taken into consideration but at the end of the day, I caved in to 6S yesterday XD.

True that 3D Touch isn't a necessity but it's really fun to have it.

I was on 5S previously and I thought 4.7" is just too big but having used the 6S for a day, I find that 4.7" is actually a very comfortable size. Much more comfortable than 4" actually. Typing on the 4.7" is less tedious and the screen size is just very soothing to look at, there's ample space for everything.
It will not be unwise to opt for the 6S now UNLESS you intend to switch immediately when the 7 is announced. if you're on the "S" line then the reasonable life cycle is to upgrade to the next "s" series in line (ie. 7S).

I'm definitely not going for 7... 6s feature is good enough for me right now... i was just thinking to save about $100 because 6s price will drop when 7 is released

I don't think the price drop will be effectively immediately because the 7 will not be released in Malaysia anytime soon after the announcement. They will most probably be made available to Malaysia early next year but you have not thought wrong. For Apple, even if there's a discount of RM50.00, it's considered as a very big thing laugh.gif but unless you are looking for the rather common variation (color & capacity) otherwise i fear you may find a hard time looking for it.

At the end of the day, you may end up buying the color and the capacity that you first did not intend to.

Just yesterday, I went over to Epicentre in IOI Mall and they only have 1 16GB Rose Gold left.

i could get one from the U.S., so it is not a problem

If you follow the release news, 9.3.4 is a carbon copy of 9.3.3, it's more like 9.3.3.1 because 9.3.4 is all about patching up the jailbreak. And that's it.

I have updated to 9.3.4 from 9.3.2 (update to 9.3.3 first then only 9.3.4) last week I think, so far so good

Recently, my 6s is having problem with the screen.

I'm playing with a game that's played horizontally. So everytime I press home button x2 to remove the game from background, as im seeing my phone vertically after that, the screen is supposed to be vertical too but instead it turns 90 degree making up only half my screen...

will find way to attach a photo if no one can understand/visualize lol
