I don't want to change my Wifi password to NUMBERS only to solve this problem because that is not the best solution.

Make sure where you want the text input is selected and press the big OK button. A keyboard should pop up on screen to key in alphabet. Hope this helps.

Hi All, i have configured VLAN 600 on my TP link router LAN port 4 & connected to my new HyppTV STB, but it doesn't work, can't view HyppTV channels.
FYI, same configuration works fine with old HypTV STB.
Anyone can advise?

Where did you get your new HyppTv STB?
Maybe your Unifi account is still bind to the old HyppTv STB, that is why the old STB still can work.

It’s new supplied by TM. I recently subscribed to Bonanza plan. HyppTV was configured & tested working with new TM router. I change back to my TP Link router & the HyppTV not working..

From your earlier post, you mentioned that the same configuration works fine with the old HyppTv STB but not the new STB.
Now you said the new HyppTv STB worked with the new TM router, but doesn't work with the old TP Link router.

Most likely is the TP Link router not configured correctly.
What is the model of the TM router and your TP Link router?

It is a new UniFi account or existing one? If new account, did you update the UniFi ID and password in own TP-link router? Btw you're on fibre or VDSL?
What's the TM router model & TP-link model?

It’s new Unifi Plan & I terminated my old Unifi Plan.
New TM router is TP Link AC1200 & HyPpTV works.

My own is TP Link AC1750 / C7
FYI I just change the Unifi username & password in my C7, only internet works. HyppTV not working..

Have you tried replicating AC1200 settings into C7? Or tried loading C7 Unifi profile and configure from fresh? What's you C7 hardware/firmware version? What's the modem model come with the plan? Most likely VLAN and port binding not correct in C7.

"Edit (14/10/2017): You need to login with master ID and password as standard admin ID will NOT show you all the settings needed for this configuration. Master ID and password is model specific, you can easily find it on google."

Hi I tried all username and password but couldn't get through.. can u give me a specific username and password? thanks.

I'm really a noob but I had read somewhere that the stock STB actually reserves the router MAC address to itself so no chance for the Neo U1. I hope my explaination makes sense

I don't use UBNT but the concept is quite simple. Create a new wifi interface, say wlan2. Bridge this to vlan600. Connect your STB to wlan2.

hey guys. how do i use hypptv with vlan 500 .

we all know that hypptv using vlan 600

but i want run one lan cable to my tv console and use a switch to give internet to smart tv, astro PVR , Hypptv and PS4.

the problem is i cant get hypptv to work with normal internet port from router. it has to be port 4 using vlan 600.

last time when im on streamyx 8mbps. i can use hypptv with just normal internet port on router (vlan500) .

now on unifi. it wont work on vlan500.

My router is Asus RT-N66U

anyone can help me?

HyppTV EC6108v8 LAN port (configured IPTV 600) connectivity is okay via DIR850L. When I'm trying on connect to the wifi (configured IPTV 600), but error "authentication fail", Even though the password entered is correct. Anyone can advise?
