Hey guys, if you are having trouble searching apps on Google Play due to the FC bug, try searching the app with Google account logged on in your desktop browser. You can click "install" and select your RN2 as the device to install from there. Installation will launch shortly after on your phone.

Haha yup i meant the playstore webpage on browser!

You mean you're syncing from your old phone to prepare migrating to RN2? This should be found in Settings > Accounts under most Androids. Just log into Google Account and there should be a sync option around there. Hope this helps! smile.gif

Actually both of them have managed to verify for us that our Lazada units are under MY warranty. Did they elaborate on why there are discrepancies each time they do a query on the same IMEI? hmm.gif

I double checked with them (on Mi Chat) and mine is still under Malaysia warranty in their system. They said that they can check the warranty status, but not the period because we didn't buy from the Mi website.

They asked us to refer to the receipt from where we purchased it from. Right now the Lazada receipt doesn't state the period of warranty also.

One possible solution is to request for Lazada to reissue a receipt/warranty document which clearly states the necessary details. By the way, the person who was investigating my case hasn't gotten back to me yet.

I think i wanna give Mi service centers a call to check on my warranty status on their systems too.

This is the staff from Mi service center right? They checked through IMEI in their system, and not just a casual "Oh because it's Lazada, then local warranty"?

I've just checked my IMEI with Mi service center at Amcorp and it's in their records rclxms.gif They could only confirm on the status of the warranty (MY) but not the warranty period. That they need to refer to the Lazada date of purchase on our order invoice.

Btw, I didn't state the model of my phone but the staff could see from their system that it's RN2 and dark grey. biggrin.gif

Thanks to okuribito for confirming earlier too. Not sure if TS needs to pin this.

I downloaded the Asus Clock app and used its widget. Got sentimental attachments to it and it's really not too bad. biggrin.gif

Most Asus system apps are available on the Play Store and they are constantly updated. They are worth exploring if it's up to your liking.

I've just used the phone with a few charge cycles. So far battery life can reach 4-4.5 hours of SOT with around 20% left.

My usage and settings: More wifi than data (set as 4G preferred), web browsing+FB with no gaming. Dual-sim and on Balanced mode for power with 30% brightness. Latest firmware 7.0.12.

Yup man. Day to day usage is smooth! No issues so far and very happy with it, especially at this price point.

When the official battery kit is available for sale, i will go and grab one. I think if all things are good, this phone can be with me for easily 3 yrs. Just need to replace the battery when it's no longer lasting.
