Hey guys, if you are having trouble searching apps on Google Play due to the FC bug, try searching the app with Google account logged on in your desktop browser. You can click "install" and select your RN2 as the device to install from there. Installation will launch shortly after on your phone.

QUOTE(okuribito @ Dec 7 2015, 08:43 PM) Haha yup i meant the playstore webpage on browser! You mean you're syncing from your old phone to prepare migrating to RN2? This should be found in Settings > Accounts under most Androids. Just log into Google Account and there should be a sync option around there. Hope this helps!

QUOTE(autob0t @ Dec 8 2015, 12:58 PM) Just chked with mi cs again, my set not covered by mi malaysia again, they got toooooo many systems, some yes some no. so how we know the time send to wrty will meet what systems? update: callled mi cs hotline 1800-28-1182, not covered by "mi malaysia"!!!! So how we claim for warty? lazada receipt didnt stated covered by mi malaysia, no imei printed only a sku code (at packaging too), i asked for b/w from lazada, until today no reply/response!! Actually both of them have managed to verify for us that our Lazada units are under MY warranty. Did they elaborate on why there are discrepancies each time they do a query on the same IMEI?

QUOTE(autob0t @ Dec 8 2015, 01:21 PM) chk the scrn shot attached, this is what they ans. I double checked with them (on Mi Chat) and mine is still under Malaysia warranty in their system. They said that they can check the warranty status, but not the period because we didn't buy from the Mi website. This post has been edited by ckweng: Dec 8 2015, 01:40 PM

QUOTE(autob0t @ Dec 8 2015, 01:38 PM) Mi chat? Hotline? Diff ppls/systems? Mi Chat too. Different ppl, not Leen but Mariah this time. I have no idea which system that she was referring to. But she did confirm that and said "be rest assured that it is under Malaysia warranty".

QUOTE(autob0t @ Dec 8 2015, 01:48 PM) This is another problem too, r they going to gv lifetime wrty? U tried call mi cs hotline b4? They r providing us wrty, not mi chat, i afraid the systems going to serve us later with what they answered on scrn shot i attached. They asked us to refer to the receipt from where we purchased it from. Right now the Lazada receipt doesn't state the period of warranty also. One possible solution is to request for Lazada to reissue a receipt/warranty document which clearly states the necessary details. By the way, the person who was investigating my case hasn't gotten back to me yet. I think i wanna give Mi service centers a call to check on my warranty status on their systems too.

QUOTE(autob0t @ Dec 8 2015, 01:59 PM) U misunderstood, read again First time when i read it, i didn't get it too haha but eventually I understood. Since there's no period stated but the status is MY warranty, it's as though it's indefinite (life-time).

QUOTE(okuribito @ Dec 8 2015, 02:46 PM) This is the staff from Mi service center right? They checked through IMEI in their system, and not just a casual "Oh because it's Lazada, then local warranty"? Thanks for the confirmation anyway! Yup, see you later okuribito. Just msg me when you're arriving

I've just checked my IMEI with Mi service center at Amcorp and it's in their records They could only confirm on the status of the warranty (MY) but not the warranty period. That they need to refer to the Lazada date of purchase on our order invoice. Btw, I didn't state the model of my phone but the staff could see from their system that it's RN2 and dark grey. Thanks to okuribito for confirming earlier too. Not sure if TS needs to pin this.

For those who are waiting for Lazada deal, you can try and use BAGUS80 (-13%) on the APP. Max discount RM80. 1 time use per user.

QUOTE(Lakum @ Dec 10 2015, 06:03 PM) What kind of clock widget u use? I only can see analog clock widget with the Nova launcher. Must install ka? But on my other phone ada pulak digital clock. I downloaded the Asus Clock app and used its widget. Got sentimental attachments to it and it's really not too bad. Most Asus system apps are available on the Play Store and they are constantly updated. They are worth exploring if it's up to your liking.

I've just used the phone with a few charge cycles. So far battery life can reach 4-4.5 hours of SOT with around 20% left.
My usage and settings: More wifi than data (set as 4G preferred), web browsing+FB with no gaming. Dual-sim and on Balanced mode for power with 30% brightness. Latest firmware 7.0.12.

QUOTE(stromae @ Dec 13 2015, 08:28 PM) oh balance mode.. good... will try.. btw this phone smooth liao.. 2gb ram only.. Yup man. Day to day usage is smooth! No issues so far and very happy with it, especially at this price point. When the official battery kit is available for sale, i will go and grab one. I think if all things are good, this phone can be with me for easily 3 yrs. Just need to replace the battery when it's no longer lasting.

QUOTE(christ14 @ Dec 15 2015, 03:01 PM) Once again.. Obey the rules. Not for you to post something u sell here. Next person to do it will be reported I'm just curious...can post a link to Garage Sales with brief descriptions? Coz naturally this thread is the most relevant target group for anything RN2 related.
