rumizu is it ok hedgehog sleep with anything hiding? Althought it will sleep any place but feel like no place let him sleep.

If can make hedgehog less shy and protective also is a good thing.

so far, my hedgie seems ok living without the hidebox.. hehe..
only at first, he seemed quite lost on finding a good spot to sleep..

I hold my Bo Chai With cloth, that why i need to learn by hand lo biggrin.gif
Can show step by step ah if don't mind? biggrin.gif
*
aiyah, for 2 years, u've been holding him like dat?
then how to build the bond between both of u.. sweat.gif
if i wanna pick up sheimi, i use both of my hand then scoop him under his belly because there are soft furs there and it won't hurt ur hand..
at first, the hedgie will fell a bit distracted with the action, but if u hold it the rite way, he will calm down because by holding it that way, they will feel a bit secured and not thinking u as a threat.. if he curl down, wait for a few secs.. but if still don't want to uncurl, use ur finger, touch and circle at the back... as for sheimi, he will always uncurl if i do that.. but now i can't remember when is the last time he curled when i held him.. hehe

hun..
it must be good to have a laid back hedgie..
unlike my sheimi, dunno how to sit still..
if i put him on my chest while lying down and watch tv, he can only lie down there for about 5 minutes...

vince
glad to hear u succeeded in holding bo chai.. do that always, so that he will recognize u better..

vince..
licking is hedgies' normal habit..
especially when they smell something nice like perfumes, lotions..
sheimi always licks my fingers if he smells my hair gel on my hand

haiz,feel like getting an hedgehogT.T
But dono whether my father allow=,.,=
anybody selling???@.@ juz wondering
*
1. Seek for permission from ur father
2. Read again n again at the first page of this thread and check whether hedgie is a suitable pet for you plus think whether u can take the responsibility after having it as a pet..
2. Prepare at least RM 400 (RM 300 for hedgie, balance for storage box, bedding, food + drink bowl)
3. Find someone who got hedgie for sale (try looking at the garage sale)
