Both dettol & clorox i dont dare to try. the guide in the first page with Hao.. Wat about dettol?? Should be safer than clorrox rite? Lol... First time i hear a pet masturbate... QUOTE(Mr. Z @ Apr 15 2007, 01:00 PM) I think its more appropriate to put in foods daily, u wouldnt wanna eat a week old biscuit left out on ur table dun u? If good breeder, sure he/she will ask you a lot of question regarding on hedgies. You can view the hoglets before getting them. See how's the environment they are in.plus, it might attract ants etc if left out there too long... same thing with my dog food... but let the pros decide on that, i m not too sure as well... Hehe, found some source of hedgehog.. but not sure whether its a good breeder or not... sigh... |

QUOTE(crazymouse_yyh @ Apr 25 2007, 10:24 AM) Well, you can't change straight away coz will cause green poo.... what you can do is mix... 1st day give 20% Kitten and 80% babycat.... then increase the kitten everyday while lessen the babycat. In a week, you can already give almost 100% kitten. But just mix it for now lah. QUOTE(hao @ Apr 25 2007, 02:10 PM) Ok, that's good then. I have bad memory... hehehe Ok noted. Just bought the babycat packet last week. So i can only start changing slow;y to kitten pack when this new pack almost finish. >.<"'Change slowly like Hun said, campur campur first, cos if change suddenly might cause diarrhea. Kitten kibbles is smaller too, easier for the hedgie to chew. |

Next time when you trim the nails, you can do it under bright light so that you can notice the pink part easily & not hurting the hedgie.. Becareful next time... ^^

About that nail trimming part, you better do it under bright light or sun light & you definitely can see the pink vein part. Try take your hedgie under sun light to check out. As long you trim not too near the pink part, you will not hurt the hedgie.
Different hedgie different characteristic. Some like running wheel some don't. But some only on wheel after the light is off, just like my boy. He'll only out for wheel after the light is off during night. Daytime is his sleeping time. ^^ |

Most of us here keeping our hedgie in plastic storage box. It is a lot easy & light to be carried & clean. ^^
