QUOTE(Kitty_catts @ Sep 10 2016, 07:43 PM) Hi, if my persona "engine check light" light up, what could be the problem? I changed my spark plug already. Check engine light only indicates something is wrong, there are hundreds of possibilities. Can i bring it over to proton SC and ask them to diagnose the problem only? You'll need to bring it back to SC, they will plug in the computer to check exactly what is the problem(s). |

QUOTE(J Camp @ Sep 11 2016, 04:44 PM) just want to give a short review between persona elegance b-line and the persona sv model. My Persona SV has none of those having both models in my house right now. b-line is ard 5 years old while the persona sv is ard 3 months. in terms of accessories, sv model got: driver seat height adjuster rear seat adjustable head rest foldable rear seats back pocket for the front seat the sv seats are also much more comfortable than the b-line (to my surprise actually). maybe proton added extra foam? also the sv engine is also much quieter than the b-line. not sure what have proton done to the seats and engine noise...maybe some of you guys can give your feedback here. After enduring the SV's sampah breks for over a year, I took the first step to improve it by swapping the front brake pads to aftermarket Brembo pads.
Now the pedal travel is still longer than I like, but once it bites it bites noticeably stronger than before. Now I am much more confident of stopping the car at high speeds. Still contemplating if I should replace the rear brake pads as well. This post has been edited by dares: Sep 12 2016, 11:10 PM |

QUOTE(J Camp @ Sep 13 2016, 09:36 PM) yup..i feel the sv is much more silent than the PE b-line while driving. According to pault@n the SV's gearbox control unit seemed to have been tweaked slightly compared to the pre-SV Persona....The SV seemed to be more eager and downshift and hold lower gears.not sure whether the engine is more silent or the sv model has better sound proofing. another thing i notice about the engine characteristics. when going uphill any slope..the b-line will rev up to 2.5k rpm and then drop back to search for a lower gear and then will go back up to 2.5k rpm. while the sv would just rev to 3k rpm and then stay there until i reach the top of the slope. both the cars are auto btw. i wonder did p1 engineers tuned the engine in the sv model differently from the normal elegance model btw how do you find the SV's brakes compared to B-line's? |

QUOTE(The_FQ400 @ Oct 24 2017, 08:55 PM) QUOTE(anakMY @ Oct 25 2017, 09:28 PM) How to fold it down ? Omg I'm owning it for 3 years but I didn't know this function lol. Only the last few batches of the SV have foldable seats. Earlier batches don't have. How's ur car? Previously got leaking issue right ? If I remember correctly QUOTE(inferno_17_85 @ Oct 31 2017, 01:13 AM) Really depends on how you use it. Disc brake pad got a metal indicator that screech when it's almost exhausted. When your disc brake screech it's time to change. Last time when I changed the brake pads on my Persona SV, the stock pads didn't have the pad wear indicator.Better check the pad thickness visually. Change if you have less than 3mm of pad material left. This post has been edited by dares: Oct 31 2017, 02:52 AM |
