recently check engine light will light up occasionally, lol, when it does the gear stuck at gear 2 and when u drive it wont shift to 3 or down to 1..when the car slow down it wont shift back to gear 1, then when the car stop, and shift to reverse, the car jerk quite heavily..plugged in computer say pedal POT 1 not plausible with POT 2 error, after clear the error code few days later the same problem came back, never face this before :S any idea? should send to proton sc?
** Update when the first time the check engine light is on i sent to workshop, they washed the throttle body, checked all the sensor, including gear, no error, just the POT 1 POT 2 error, after cleared the error code, still the same after few days This post has been edited by benson92: Jul 12 2018, 09:00 AM |

QUOTE(inferno_17_85 @ Jul 13 2018, 07:33 PM) Yo bro, couldn't be of real help here since am driving a manual. ended up changed the pedal to a secondhand one, problem did not come back after 2 days tho, will monitor for a week and seeBut you can try to disconnect battery for say 5 minutes and put it back, after erasing the error code. Works for me last time when i have a cryptic sensor error. Seems to me this is wiring problem that's hard to catch. Good luck. |

QUOTE(ZenGTMM @ Aug 4 2018, 02:50 AM) Yes reasonable. Is ur persona B, M or H line? Those H line that comes with ABS and thus uses a bigger servo. The B and M line uses the BLM 1.3 single layer servo. If u are using B or M line, I suggest switching to a double layer servo from Honda VIRS/EK (commonly known as the dolphic eye civic). That brake servo gives a better modulation and progressive feel for the brake pedal as its double layer (ur current brake pedal have to press quite a bit before it starts to bite) and doesnt give too much braking power that will cause ur wheels to lock up easily. done PDT several times, keep showing P0120 error pedal POT 1 not plausible with POT 2, changed ECU solved the issue it seems, but before this already changed TB and pedal, dmg done..haizOk this is a common issue with workshops. Whenever u go to them for recommendation for a more 'sporty' feel shocks, they always use shorter stroke absorbers and stiffer springs, giving that very stiff and bumpy feel. It is only suitable if u are travelling on smooth roads like highway all the time. When it comes to B-roads u will suffer. My suggestion for street use sport absorber is to use long stroke/stock stroke sports absorbers with stiffer springs. The long stroke gives ur car the adequate suspension travel to smooth out those potholes and bumps on road and the slower rebound rate with the stiffer spring gives it that firmer grip feel instead of letting ur car bounce around with stock absorbers (stock absorbers are long stroke with quick rebound and softer spring to give that comfort feel, but dues to the softer nature ur car tends to nose dive or roll a bit excessively when braking or hard cornering). My top suggestions for suspension setup with absorber price as follow: 1) IMP Improve Comfort RM850 (sport absorbers with very very long durability) + Satria Neo CPS springs for the front and standard springs with IMP Comfort at the back. 2) Proride performance RM480 (yellow color not black) with Satria Neo CPS front springs and stock persona rear springs 3) Monroe Original RM420 + the same spring setup. Should use PDT to check the error code first. Highly unlikely for throttle body to rosak. Most probably Gearbox speed sensor issue causing the error readout to ECU. Damage would have been around RM250 for the gearbox speed sensor. |
