Atf proton sp iii. 5L            rm110.00
Brake pad front proton        rm  40.00
Fan belt/v belt.                  rm100.00
Labour                              rm 80.00
                            Total.    rm470.00
Changing Steering oil - use leftover gear oil

Next service is time to change timing belt.

Tesco is having offer again for Shell helix hx7 10w40 , RM99.90 , thinking whether to get it or not. I already bought a castrol magnatec and haven't used it yet. I think I better wait lah, Tesco always has offer for engine oils.

FML, recently my persona keep giving me prob, persona sv 100k mileage, 3 years usage. A month ago aircon compressor clutch rosak, now battery problem, maybe starter rosak, can't even jump start the car.

Because if the water pump spoil can cause the belt to break, which can cause the piston to strike and damage the valve. Then 
Also labour cost to replace the belt with the pulleys and all...might as well replace the pump..

BTW..at what mileage did you change? How about the pulleys?

my persona can go genting (GPO only) even my iafm have tak tak sound. remember campro is high rev engine and best in climbing but dont go to redline often , can damage the engine.

The thing is, it hitam very fast. If not mistaken after few month change already like kopi colour.. (from external) I didn't open up to check..

Changing my tyres soon.
Currently using the stock Silverstone.

Should I go for xm2?

Buy from proton parts centre. Aftermarket like schmaco doesn't last. This doesn't apply for the suprima/preve cfe though. Ori proton doesn't last for this two models.

some facebook member posted their gen2 mileage over 500k km (no intend pun to show off, asking fuel meter issue), so yours still can tahan a long way...

stock gti is using 4G93 block. 4G93 block with 1.6L Mivec head will create even more power since it become slightly higher compression.
lol.. my friend doing sales job he clock at least 100k km a year.. as he has to run everywhere in msia to deliver goods.
i pakai rev rev punya.. can feel engine no power ady.. go up genting check engine light will come out.
