QUOTE(kelvin988 @ Oct 22 2017, 11:30 PM) Anyone have idea persona 2012 high line or Persona sv 2013 is better? Heard someone mentioned that persona after year 2013 , the engine is quieter and got adjustable headrests on rear seat? Anyone willing to share? in my opinion H-Line is better coz got extra gadgets.. cruise control etc.. adjustable headrests on rear seats are only available for M-Line and H-Line I think.. SV doesnt get foldable rear seat... SV also missing a lot of NVH paddings...QUOTE(mingyuyu @ Oct 24 2017, 04:11 PM) rm30 of fuel for 120km is quite unacceptable no? Thats a aircond hose.. I think the silver part is just an add-on insulator..yeah true, most people tend to ignore the service schedule once the warranty expires. by pulling out the valve, is there any negative effect to the engine? Btw, i noticed that this hose is loosened and tightly connected. Any idea what hose is it? and should i get it fixed? ![]() |

QUOTE(mingwei1992 @ Jan 21 2018, 04:43 PM) I bought 4 for 1k. Few months back. the other day i read the owners manual.. it says 20W50 which is only available in mineral oil form.. not sure those 5W40 semi has enough viscosity.. Just an update . Previously was using 5w30 from proton sc. I just change back to 5w40 . What I noticed is,the engine is quieter. Fuel consumption almost similar. Pickup yet to realise the difference. Maybe as the oil ages, I can notice the difference. For brake rotors, Everytime we change breakpad, need to change rotor? I just change new brakepad. The noise is very loud . They say my rotor unbalanced already and need a new replacement.i asked some mechanic, some say just leave it overtime the noise will begone. Tq |

QUOTE(voscar @ Jan 21 2018, 09:47 PM) yes, the 20w50 rating came from the earliest batch of gen2 campro engine, maybe because it's first malaysian own-built engine, so they trying to play it safe to avoid engine failure. yea my butt dyno says 5W30 is better in acceleration.. but i think its a bit louder around 2k rpm onwards.. nonetheless still noisy on 10w40.. during those days mostly still having mindset of "thicker engine oil = more protection"; "xxw30 weight is water, you think your car is kancil?" btw, i have been using 5w30 fully synthetic for 3 months, seems not much different as my car engine still same noisy (was thinking to do firewall soundproofing). FC also same, but noticed the acceleration is more rev-happy. |
