Last time at spare part shop saw the shop owner selling mirror only for iswara, for persona I'm not sure. You best bet is to ask a few spare part/accessories shop. Can try luck at Proton SC also...

Hi, if my persona "engine check light" light up, what could be the problem? I changed my spark plug already.

Can i bring it over to proton SC and ask them to diagnose the problem only?

does this mean that CEL can be triggered by altitude ? Any plausible explanation for this occurrence ? Have u experienced this on your car before?
does this mean flx and persona share the same sensor?

im currently looking for used car and more towards persona elegance due to used price getting lower. I found some persona year 2012/2013 with price of 22k? but then my friend said, persona with IAFM engine fuel consumption higher that other persona lineup..are this true? which persona are the best in overall?..

full tank is 50L? so it would be 10km/L..quite good..or im calculate it wrongly? ..any other concern if buying persona..i love the exterior..interior quite good..only my concern is the engine..

Hi guys, I am looking for an used MT Persona, preferably around year 2010- 2011 that costs around RM20k. Most units I found online have about 90k kms of mileage. 

May I know what to check when testing the cars? I did read through the first page of this topic and understand the common issues. How about any other things that I should check?

i have no experience but maybe u should make sure it sounds right..
no kluk kluk sound when going uneven road surface..
inside of the exhaust tip should not be covered with black oily dirt or anything..
head gasket not leaking.. (even so it only cost less than RM100 to repair)
check other engine parts make sure no oil stains(pretty sure they washed it already)
no check engine light..
doesnt smell like engine oil when you rev it while driving.. else could be the cat-converter clogged or some oil leakage somewhere which is getting heated up
cars around 90k kms can prepare to change engine mounting as u can feel the engine vibration from idle.. else its fine
i think thats all la.. 

want to check with all sifus, any problem going up and down genting?

my 2009 persona (bought second hand) never been up to genting before, recently I saw some members also having the engine suddenly died when going up genting (rpm constantly 3k-4k for 10-20 minutes), even those who servicing on time also have this problem, a bit phobia now since im going this weekend 

After one month of using,

Now driver door couldn't be opened from outside, I have no idea why.

When rear seats are fully occupied, you can hear some noticeable noise like something is knocking at car boot when driving, my car boot got nothing to cause that sound though...

Ahhh anyone encountered these? Am thinking to go proton sc to check, will they entertain me? 🙁

Im using Persona Elegance Manual milage around 89K.
Thinking of swapping to auto GB since my wife is using it right now.
how much is the estimated cost and what do we need for the swap to be "successful"?

she can drive manual... no issue... but since the car now is frequently used apart from being a weekend car previously, just wanna consider if it is cost effective to swap transmissions...
put aside fuel consumption and i dont wanna buy another car... not just yet...

It is common for persona.
It should be caused by the sensor at ur hood
Maybe next time when u off the alarm. U check and see which area that trigger the alarm.
Dashboard got one led that blinks.
The number of blinks indicates which area is the culprit of the problem.
One blink 2 blinks.
U then check back the manual to see which area is the problem.

Wonder how many of them are still driving this persona.

Agree as no point change when this car is still in good condition ......unless Proton Raptor is out with same performance .... haha

if u use for normal drive only, just go for any 5w-40 will do. better ones will be brand like Torco, Millers Oil. last time, most of us go for castrol magnetec.

This I can agree, I think I will still keep this car even after buy another one. Upgrade here and there, touch up with new paint or what not
