QUOTE(nabilnasir @ Jun 3 2016, 08:26 PM) some old EDC prepper guys told me this. the law is actually bendable. most of us got pass police no problem. i once when into putrajaya government office with that knife. only need to leave it with them. done my thing there got back my knife. no problem. but thats just me. When you say bendable, are you referring to bribery? (Legit question) Cause' I don't do that kinda thing. Most police would be more likely to disregard a leatherman, opposed to a standalone knife.actually my leatherman is also illegal since it has lock mechanism. the knife must not have lock mechanism. if anyone want to be completely safe carrying a knife. i would say SAK is the way to go. no lock and below 3inch. just nice i once have the para bracelet but i dont really find it useful How much of cord you carry with you? Is it with your get home bag/bug out bag or EDC? If the latter, your job scope requires it? I'm planning on getting the Cannae Legion Day Pack. Tunggu member balik USA dulu. Baru boleh kirim. QUOTE(tandynes @ May 31 2016, 08:21 AM) I noticed that the tuf-glide lube last very long, but the problem is the smell stays on for a long time. the way tuf glide works is that it turns into a powder after it dries up. it does not stay wet like oil. but again i am not bothered by the smell (towards a point I welcome it A month after it still has the lingering smell, i am worried it will transfer to my pants. Since i have some knifes which i store in a ziplock bag, now that bag smells of the lube. QUOTE(nabilnasir @ Jun 3 2016, 03:11 AM) the EDC community in malaysia is still a bit new. not really that many people take seriously things for EDC. here's my currently EDC system. (though unfortunately i misplace my knive) well its been a few years and there are just under 50 of us being active these days but we ahve been around since the early 2000s at least from the early days over from the australia and asia section of Bladeforums.com to the 5 year stint we had on the Malaysia Knife Forums of which the BBS for that is no longer online. [attachmentid=6760959] Most of the administration from the knife forums are now taking care of the Cutting Edge forums. we have an online portal for this but most of the activity happening on the Facebook incarnation of the group. do come by. we have tons of pocket dumps there as well as posts on eDC related news and activities planned monthly |

Can't quote since replying on phone. Too lazy.
No. It's not bribery. I don't do that either. It depends on the officer at that time. Paracord in my EDC backpack. (MSM Adapt) and no my work doesn't require it. But I like to have it when I need it. SOG can buy from Idi Mazwan (GROT) from FB. OGM only carries leatherman as far as I remember. |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Jun 6 2016, 01:57 PM) ogm carry SOG also, just not many. Oh he did ask between Leatherman and SOG. So I assume a multi tool. I don't think I ever saw SOG multitool at OGM. haha. Probably I'm mistaken. Idi got SOG in stock currently. But I don't remember the model though.i wanted to buy the SOG snarl from them before, but price became too expensive. |

QUOTE(nabilnasir @ Jun 7 2016, 07:55 AM) Thx. I think I'll concentrate my effort on a skeletool. The review by the late boy scout on the sog reactor is not very good. The concept is wonderful and all but the screw function needs to be revamped. |
