Guys, i just bought this phone and it was under Miui 7.1.1.1 stable rom.

Im thinking to flash it to 7.1.6.0, which i found it under ---> http://en.miui.com/download-295.html

But when i go through the flashing guide, there are 3 methods stated there.
1. system update
2. recovery update
3. fastboot update

which one shall i go for? any advice?

and also what is the diff with note 3 and note 3 pro other then the processor

hirota im at step 11, somehow it stuck at fastboot (buny repair a robot) but no progress bar at sp_flash tool the picture stuck at step 9

Is it a bug or Xiaomi really doesnt hav video call? I might b buying Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 or Xiaomi Redmi 3, bcause of its fabulous specs. & price.

I am on 7.1.6.0 after flashing. So far so good. Just need to read a bit on how to install Google Apps. After which is working perfectly on every apps that I am using, only the GPS on Google map give some issue but was later solved. Battery seem lasting well too.

BTW for those who want to flash, just do it, it may seem a bit difficult at first with all the dos and donts but is really not, just make sure u on USB debug by going in developer mode. Throughout the whole flashing process even u have some hiccup it won't spoil your phone, don't worry! Again just remember USB debug, I think this is what kill the phone if u forgot to turn it on

just curious...is global rom better than china official rom ?
