QUOTE(kamikraze @ Dec 9 2015, 10:54 AM) No not really troll by Xiaomi as they got no plan or probably won't launch Redmi Note 3 here. If they do, they might just do like what they did with Mi4. For clearing old stock. RN3 build is solid, I'd go for that. oh ok, coz I see the date release is too near x sampai 1 year

i say both also value for money la
RN2 - got micro sd expansion, removable battery, can change cover as i like RN3 - massive battery, finger print sensor, metal body
both got pro and cons
but somehow i am more of a RN2 person myself due to many of my work stuff I need to store inside micro SD... no choice. Another phone is iphone.. too much gadgets already.. so thats why I am thinking of giving up my RN3 if anyone interested

Looks like Mi Malaysia don't know whether there will be a local version of RN3 or not so i guess the most realistic option for me is China unit from directd. But i really don't know what to expect from china unit. will i have difficulty using the phone? language english should be available right? how about support like warranty and updates?

Since u will be buying from Directd then u should talk to them regarding your warranty issues. mine is day 1 purchase direct from xiaomi china phone usage no problem la just read up some knowledge on how to install apk and you are on your way. updates lagi no problem for china version , they update quite frequently

Why?based on the news from Taiwan, xiaomi Taiwan confirm won't launching RN3 in Taiwan. So I think maybe it will same for Malaysia HK and SG. Just guess.

So I guess there won't be any international ROM for RN3 if that is the case. Too bad since I prefer to go for the official Malaysian set instead if the China version.
