QUOTE(afosz @ Feb 9 2008, 07:33 PM) mizi already lapped his GeminII, same goes to his proc btw is there any GeminII S user here ? how does it perform ? Look who's talking. Anyway, I do think the ori surface of geminII is shining and flat enough, thus giving you the mirror effect. Just lap your proc and see the difference. I'll post up my results when Ive done my OC. Anyway, my current temp is - idle 31 load 40. AMD X2 4000+ 2.85 @ 1.3v.

No need to change the cooler.

cant take the pic coz ive alrdi swap it with cm mars the very next day. If u put the heatsink horizontal like the psu next to it wil surely block those ocz reaper rams bcoz of the ram heatsink. And if u put it at vertical position then it can fit nicely but if u try to install the 2 metal fins which to support the fan then the psu n gc wil block it le.

The reason why I totally turn down the Reaper, because of my GeminII ( Another method - Break and throw off the protruding heatsink on the Reaper and you can use it hahahaha)

GeminII fans, usually we put both blowing to the board right ? Any of you guys tried blowing out ? Is it effective or not ? Because other HSF blowing out and for towers, directly transfer the heat to rear exhaust

Because other HSF blowing out and for towers, directly transfer the heat to rear exhaust I think the MAIN reason fans are blowing towards the mobo is to cool down the GeminII. I tried with GeminII without the fans and result - the GeminII was friggin hot when switch on the system, while having the fans, you hardly feel even warm on the heatsink.

That one is without fans, which I know it all along. GeminII no good without fans. Just wanna know if anyone has tried it before, and wanna know the result whether it is effective or not if both fans sucking the air out instead of blowing to the board just like we all do. I want to try it but too lazy to do it Maybe some other time

The proc transfers heat to the heatsink, thus heatsink needs to be cool, there where the two fans doing their job. And apparently you cant suck the heat out from the heatsink, therefore blowing up is a no good I guess. No good ? Terikut kau lani This post has been edited by mizivincible: Feb 20 2008, 01:48 AM
