Need advice.

1. Brand: Huawei Mate 40 Pro or Xiaomi Ultra 11 5G
2. Budget: anyone know how much are they right now?

*Use for browsing Facebook, Photoshoot, Chatting, very very light gaming
*Don't really need 5G I guess? 4G will be enough for the next 2-3 years in Malaysia?

Thank You. smile.gif

Realme gt 2 pro
Xiaomi 12 pro
One plus 10 pro

Somehow one plus seems like downgraded from 9?

Worth to get realme instead? Have they optimized the software?

Hi,

1. Brand: Any Model
2. Budget: <RM3k
4. Specs: good camera is a must
4. Type/Size: large screen, ~7.2 inch, Mate20x replacement.

I am looking for a replacement for my beloved Huawei mate 20x. Loved the big screen and don't think can go back to any smaller screen. Unfortunately, the cameras are looking a bit outdated on this day. Any recommendations for mate 20x replacement?

Thx.

This will be my second phone use solely for office communication ie. Calls, SMS, Whatsapp, Zoom, etc.

1. Brand: Any
2. Budget: Cheapest possible.
3. Specs: Operating phone for communication should not be sluggish and run reasonably fast.
4. Type/Size: Any

I'm thinking Xiaomi Redmi 9A (2GB RAM + 32GB ROM). Not sure about 2GB RAM. Open to other suggestions.

Phone should not be sluggish. Can last for another 2 years.

Thanks in advance.

when you have used huawei, you will always miss how bugless their phones are, i do agree the camera on the mate series are outdated
my siblings all use huawei
p30 pro
2x p30
mate 20

my advise is, if you want huawei's bugless experience, trade your mate 20 x for a p30 pro, you'll enjoy a sharper camera with better sensor, apprent especially in lowlight, and 40w charging compared to 22.5w on your mate 20 x. screen is pretty big too, but it's curved.

Thx but looking for newer phone. P30 pro upgrade seems minimal.

Looking at
Samsung note 20 ultra
Mi 11 ultra
Mi 12 ultra (?)

Hello,I need help in determining my next phone, I'm thinking to upgrade a lil' bit from the current ones. Right now I'm using Realme GT 5G 12/256 SD888.

1.Brand: Any Model
2. Budget: around RM4.5k
4. Specs: Decent camera(mostly will use camera to record a tripod held video), doesn't heat easily, storage minimum 256GB,RAM 8GB above
4. Type/Size: Any other than fold.

I'm thinking to get between Vivo X70 Pro+,Samsung S22+,Iqoo 9 Pro,Realme GT2 Pro, Oneplus 10 Pro.

Samsung really hits different since they are announcing that they'll support updates up to 4years for android and 5 years for security. I'm undecided though.

1. Brand: Samsung or Oppo
2. Budget: around RM800
3. Specs: 64GB or 128GB/6GB RAM
4. Type/Size: Android

For my mother, her XiaoMi A2 lite used 2 years, lagging more and more gradually.

I saw Samsung Galaxy A12 and Oppo A76 might be a decent phone for my mother, can't choose between this two.

Or any sifus here have a better suggestion for senior citizen usage?

Android phones only as my mom already got used to android UI.

Redmi Note 11 (vanilla, AKA base 4G model)

It’s having a solid AMOLED display on a decent size 6.4” while having all those typical Redmi goodies.

128GB one RRP for RM799 but I saw sellers selling them at sub RM700, upcoming Lazada sale likely can be even cheaper. If you’re not the type of guy who comfortable to purchase the phone online and wait for shipping, then get it now from sunwayemall at RM56X and pick it up yourself by walk in.
