Hi,
Thanks your feedback.
Heard comments of Redmi 3s camera is not as good as Honor 4..
Is it true?

THanks.

I dunno, but it should just about the same quality. But either way, go with the Redmi 3s.

Hi guys,

Need recommendations for my new phone as below:

1. Brand - dont mind any brand
2. Budget - max 600
3. Specs - dont mind. But need good performance form
4. Type/Size - strictly big screen, 5.5inch as I use phone to watch movie most of the time

I am considering redmi note 3 at the moment from 11st around rm 5xx but import set. Malaysia set have to add another 200 - 300 which is quite pricey. Should i go with import set or any other good phone within my budget?
*
Go with the Xiaomi Redmi 3s then.

Looking for a phone for my dad. He is using Note2 and complains the screen is too big so maybe something smaller. Mostly FB and some games.
*
Your budget? If it's RM 600 and below, then you're in luck, get the Xiaomi Redmi 3s.

wjats the dpi on altitude‘s screen? google it,no info on that. and will you please tell me why?
*
294 ppi/dpi. Most common low-end have this resolution or lower. But if viewing at HD is your concern, then this should be just okay for you, although I can't say how good was it.

got it. Btw,any insight on the golden warrior, meizu mx4(??)and redmi 4a?
*
The Lenovo Golden Warrior and the Xiaomi Redmi 4A should be avoided, unless you don't mind Chinese bloatware and no local warranty. The Meizu MX4, while I can say it's good, but the outdated Android 4.4 KitKat surely might put you off.

I can just flash global ROM xDD
*
Do you mind about not getting local warranty? If not, go ahead with the Mi5s. Not going to be pushy tho, since in the end, you will have to choose what you want to get.

what good bargain phone that is below <rm400 phone?
*
The only one would be the Meizu M1 Note, but being a little older in terms of hardware and software... can't say. If you want something newer, it's best to go with the Alcatel Flash Plus 2.

Hi..I need suggestion on the following sequence that I like.

Mate 9>Iphone 7>One plus 3T>S7 edge or just cheapest Honor 8 will do..XD
*
OnePlus 3T is a rather good flagship killer, so move on. I can recommend the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge or the Apple iPhone 7 as well. But in the end, it's all up to you if you want to buy the phone you want, so don't hesitate to choose any of these.

Hey guys, would like to ask is it still worth to buy an Iphone 6 64GB new at the price of MYR1.9k ? Or is there any other option better than it ?
*
If you are going for Apple, then go with the iPhone 6 or the iPhone SE. If you are looking for a phone... well, consider the OnePlus 3 or Huawei P9

At some point, some ppl choose 4050mAh over 2800mAh not to bring PB along..
*
Because bigger is always better, although not in all cases. Chipset and screen does influence battery life well a lot.

QUOTE(HayateAyakasi8 @ Dec 26 2016, 11:49 PM)
don't those MediaTek chips heat fast, plus theres more support on phones that uses SD chips
*
Kind of. But it all depends.

sorry I am lacking knowledge in smartphones... is huawei suitable for 3 to 4 years use?

3 to 4 year? It's highly unlikely that any of the smartphone is suitable for anything more than 3 years. But of course the Huawei should be at least okay for 3 years.

My Huawei Honor 3C 29th month already.  So far so good.  Only the battery life shortens (still original battery).

My main phone, Iphone5 White yesterday just celebrated its 4th birthday.  In excellent condition...
*
That's impressive, but when I say it's unlikely that a phone will last for 3 years, it's just typical that a phone will last for at least 2 years before needing to change a phone.

A far cry from the past when phones used to last more than 3 years before needing for a new phone.

Haha same here, Honor 3C 2 yrs and 7 months. Software crashed once recently, but fixed it for RM60 at huawei service centre. My battery still can achieve close to 4 hrs screen on time.
*
That was good... my dad used to have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and it lasts close to 3 years before it became nonchargeable. For me.... it was only 1 year 2 months and still running well, yet I thought of changing phones.

Between Flash Plus 2 & Xiaomi 3S Pro.
What make Flash Plus 2 better than 3S Pro?
And what make Xiaomi 3S Pro better than FP2?
*
Flash Plus 2 over Redmi 3s
- Way more cheaper price (Base model, RM 479 vs RM 599)
- Higher screen resolution (1080p vs 720p)
- Larger screen (5.5 inches vs 5 inches)
- Fast charging

Redmi 3s over Flash Plus 2
- Better (theoretical) battery life (4100 mAh vs 3000 mAh)
- Better performance (Snapdragon usually do better in this compared to MediaTek)
- Better camera

If I were to choose between both of these, I would go for the Xiaomi Redmi 3s. But of course, if you are really on tight budget, go ahead with the Flash Plus 2.

You can buy the S7 edge if you wanted, but I suggest you to wait until Galaxy S8 is out. Here are some of my current recommendations:
