QUOTE(u_gotPwned @ Feb 26 2017, 11:38 PM) 1. Brand - any 2. Budget - 500-700 3. Specs - best bang for buck! 4. Type/Size - 5 inch - 5.5 inch right now im looking at the Redmi Note 4 (SD 625), Honor 5C, Samsung A5 2016. probably Lenovo? but had bad experience with previous Lenovo phones, UI sux, bloatware, etc. would stay away from Lenovo unless it can give me better specs. Sifus, can u recommend something future proof? currently using Zenfone 5 with custom Rom. Will probably also use custom rom with my next phone after the warranty expires.. Many Thanks! I would happily recommend the Xiaomi Redmi 3s if you ask me. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (SD625 variant) would be closest to future proof thanks to its latest 14 nm fabrication, but I would recommend this if you are fine with AP set, which doesn't have local warranty. I wouldn't recommend the other two tho.

QUOTE(filage @ Apr 10 2017, 06:20 PM) Is it still advisable to buy 3g only handphone now with no 4G LTE support? Not... really. 4G phones are quite common, so it's not a good idea to get a 3G-only handphone.

QUOTE(filage @ Apr 10 2017, 06:54 PM) Are all the cellular data works only on 4G? Which means if one use 3G-only, may not be able to use the Internet data from cellular telco. You still can use 3G, and calling and Internet works on it, only slightly slower Internet speed. I had been using a 3G-only device for more than a year already.

QUOTE(lennac @ Apr 27 2017, 11:46 AM) Hi, need recommendation for my mom 1. Brand - Any 2. Budget - Preferable < RM300 3. Spec - Dual sim, mainly for whatsapp & 1-2 games 4. Type/Size - Any Thanks I am going to assume that your mom plays light games, since anything that is about RM 300 is not for heavier games. Alcatel Pixi 4 5010D Samsung Galaxy J1 Xiaomi Redmi 4A can be taken into consideration, since it's a solid phone at something less than RM 400. Sure, it does exceed your price range, but I don't recommend the two phones above a lot.

QUOTE(fortuner11 @ Apr 29 2017, 05:10 PM) Between huawei y3ii vs redmi 4a, difference around 150 rm, which is more worth? The RM 150 difference would be better worth for the Redmi 4A for being rather superior in almost every aspect.

QUOTE(filage @ Apr 30 2017, 10:33 AM) Whats the most value for money 8GB ROM 1GB RAM phone at this moment? Alcatel Pixi 4 (5) would be something that fits into your budget, but if you can spend more, you should get yourself a Xiaomi Redmi 4A.

Hello everyone,
I wanted to ask for a recommendation for my younger brother's next phone. Here are his requirements:
- Preferably he would buy a phone made by Oppo (other brands are okay, as long it widely available in Klang, Selangor) as Xiaomi doesn't look like widely available here. - His phone must at least have 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, a fingerprint sensor and a decently sized battery. And also, the phone must be powerful enough to run most mobile games. - His phone must be RM 900 or below.
He had been considering about getting an Oppo A83 but the problem is that the phone doesn't have a fingerprint sensor. Asus Zenfone 4 Max looks like a decent choice as well. Are there any other recommendations than the ones mentioned?
Thanks in advance.
