Ive been getting 30-50mbps with maxis. Guess it has to do with location and how many ppl is using it. The bad side of it is my puny 2gb quota which will finish very fast.

You are right, fast or slow is really depend on location sometime. However, this is the speed test result with Celcom 4G LTE

And then this is Celcom LTE-A speed test result

Celcom's LTE is the slowest among all telco according to this report. Their LTE population coverage are not even close to what Maxis offer though.

My apologies. I misread their T&C. You will have RO request for a change of plan. It won't be automatically upgraded regardless of initial plan value.

It says the following (change of bill plan service):
2.1 You may request for the CORP from the your existing Postpaid Service to any other First Postpaid Plans (“New Plan”) subject to Celcom’s sole discretion.

2.2 Upon successful CORP, your existing Mobile Number shall be maintained.

2.3 All your supplementary lines subscribed under Clause 3.1.1 of Part A above shall be subject to the CORP and shall be transferred to the New Plan.

2.4 In the event that your CORP is registered before your billing cycle, your bill shall be pro-rated from the date of the registration of the CORP.

thanks bro. btw i just called up and asked them..they say i am eligible to upgrade it...however my billing cycle is 8th of each month...currently just only passed it...so they recommended me to do it next month before 8th. I asked them...they say it will ended at 31st of march...not sure their statement is valid or not thou

Guys,

I'm a prepaid user currently and have plans to change to Celcom First Gold postpaid plan. Is it possible for me to change to this postpaid plan while keeping my old prepaid number ?

In addition, I would like to ask, whether is it possible to buy an iphone 6s together with celcom first gold plan ? i've checked online, there was an advertisement about it but once i clicked it, the plans changed to celcom elite.

Not even 40% dude. The coverage is calculated based on population dude. U Mobile had 37% population coverage. If you calculate base on area, Maxis is even barely 40%

Open signal LTE coverage does not base on area or population but the average time on LTE
