Quite the mixed reviews on reuleaux. Some loved it, but some regret even they haven't turn the thing on. Seems the casing they're using have some quality control issues and so is the wiring.

How it taste vaping plain pg/vg with no flavorings?
*
Currently vaping pure VG just to change flavour on my Crown. Slightly sweet but plain. Could get used to it but eh

wanna quit smoke, thats why

i have little vaping experience.. but i did tried vaping long time ago.. now see so many new mods and tanks, so i'm not sure to go for which one, did online search but doesn't really help..

D2 is what brand?

if can, i want something that will not disappoint me so fast, looking forward to use for at least 6 months or more before maybe upgrade.. so..
*
Pioneer4you, or P4U for short. Uses Yihi chips which is very top notch in the vape industries. I'm not big on spoonfeeding so excuse me if I don't go too much into details but IPV 3 Li from the same company is also something worth considering too. Along with any Sigelei mods, Evic VTC Mini or the new Reuleaux DNA 200 by Jaybo.

thank you for your advice..

i normally don't simply ask for spoon-feeding, i did my search online, but not really helping but rather makes me more confuse, then i think that i need a conversation feedback from this forum

just looking for the basic idea so that i know where to start from.. there is a huge list of mods and tanks out there, i just want to filter down to smaller options

now u said chips.. wow.. now seems like it boils down to the hardware type.. hmm i need to do more reading
*
laugh.gif Nah matey, I said that so I don't have to list down all the specs. You're on your own for that. Recommendation, yeah sure we can give you some hints and pointers at what to look at. Since you're obviously new to vaping I'd say just get a mid range mod and a easy, hassle free setup just to familiarize yourself.

As I said, a IPV 3 Li is already a high performance mod with a mid price range so that'll will last you for a while. Or go small with the D2/Evic VTC mini for easy out and about setup that's super durable but still performs worth the buck spent.

For an atty, just get yourself the standard Subtank Mini. It has a rebuildable base, RBA, that you can learn to build your own coil. Don't fancy the Subtank? Get the Uwell Crown with the RBA base! Word of caution tho, not really suited for beginner since it drains juice faster than you can fill it.

thanks guys, all these should be useful.

as for the @mugens checklists:

Does size matter? not really
Budget? i think i can go up to 800, but i'm a bit particular spender, normally looking for good value for money sweat.gif so i would prefer cheaper price, comparable performance with the expensive one
Looks? ermm.. maybe doesn't matter (they all loos not that attractive anyway)
China brand ok or not? i don't mind, best value for money top priority
Finger prints? what?.. got mode have finger print security like iPhone?  shocking.gif
Abit hot when used?
*
Eh, I'd think a IPV 4s, Snow Wolf or any other dual batt mod will do then. Longer lifetime is a huge plus to some people. Me? Eh, size does matter brows.gif I'm happy with my D2. Still get a good whole day out of it even at high watt plus, the performance has been superb. Can't really complain for the price point.

Make sure to get an external charger and a good genuine battery. DO NOT SKIMP ON THE BATTERIES. and yes, the capslock was necessary.

*Also an RDA, dripper, optional. The mod should not get any hotter than a phone running a graphic demanding application. Other than that, throw it. That's a bomb, baby! Just read up on Ohm Law a lil bit to learn about battery safety.

Size does matter for me. I don't carry pouch, bag or anything. I put my vaporshark rdna40 with subtank. Just nice in the front pocket. My iphone6s wallet keys.
*
and right you are, Ken! Me too. Although the longer lifetime is very appealing, I don't really like lugging around a brick in my pants. I do have my man purse or Murse™, patent pending, I don't always use it much.

QUOTE(hallucinogen @ Nov 21 2015, 01:45 AM)
based on number, does it mean the ipv3 is the older version than the ipv4s?
*
Yes, but the IPV 3Li is newer. See, and that's why we're always confused. biggrin.gif

*Sx mini too is overpriced imo. The price goes more to the build quality. Hell, I could even get 75 watt on my D2 but yeah, the chipset is on a whole diff levels. There's a bit more fine tuning that can be done on sx mini.

Damn. What's going on here. Looks like I missed my chance to sold some of my buttplugs collection. Could be handy dealing with those who are anally damaged.

In other news, where can a brother get some Teleos juice nowadays? Finished mine before I could clone it. TFA Berry Crunch and TFA Fruit Circles def in there, I just need to fine tune it a lil bit more.

*
YES! YES I DO SLEEP BETTER AT NIGHT! LOOK AT MY FIRM GLUTEUS MAXIMUS AND MARVEL AT IT'S GLORY. IT'S BETTER THAN YOURS CHINESE MADE BUTTCHEEKS.

My god what is this, the 3rd grade primary school? laugh.gif Eh, my local B&M owner just message me to take some from his stash so I'm good. Teleos milk however is goddamn delish. Not a hint of lemon unlike Looper. Good but not for me imo. I'm kinda on a cereal roll here

Guys.. "premium juices" bugs me... what makes it premium? Can some random dudes simply mix PG VG and add flavor and voila sell as premium juice with nice bottle and sticker....
*
Technically, yes. Most local juices aren't even using US ingredients but advertised as such and still slap on a huge print of "Premium" on their label. What are people gonna do, sue them? In Malaysia? laugh.gif

What's differ for me is the taste. I have no qualms with local juices, as long as they taste good.

A good wick, delicious juice and perseverance.

Also, for me Uwell Crown coil starts to shine around 50-60w. Just make sure you prime it first.

Among those 3 TFV4 gets my vote for flavour. But it's apples and oranges compared to Bellus and Crius. RBA and RTA delivers diff results, depending on how you build em.

They're all good, respectively, just comes down to your perferance in the end.

QUOTE(stix @ Nov 23 2015, 09:45 AM)
One question homies, does 28 gauge ni200 wire feels much softer than a 28 kanthal? Mine that came from FT was so soft then it stays at it shape when i slightly apply force to it. Makes me feel like its 30 gauge. 9-10 wraps was around .17-.19 ohms
*
Nickel are softer than kanthal. Thats why most people do not like to use them. *UD Ni200 wires are tempered, easier to work with

OK Ive learned my lesson.
Never use TC coils (such as those for Crown) on non-TC mods.
You will burn out your coils within hours.
Since ive gotten my heatsink for my vaporflask, everything runs smoothly, and ive been using the same coil since Saturday without a slight hint of burn out
*
Why did ya use it in the first place? I'm guessing alcohol have some play in this

QUOTE(gnomemaster @ Nov 23 2015, 11:25 AM)
Bellus does the same too  tongue.gif
I only use rba head, never use occ one lol.

And bellus cheaper N smaller. Tfv4 too big unless go mini. Crius or crown is my next brows.gif
*
Imo Bellus = Crius. Tested em side by side and no loser came out. Still tho, Crius is more fool-proof. But I'll bet you'll prove me wrong laugh.gif

Crown tempting but mahal  cry.gif

Get your goddamn Bellus to work first then I'll let you out of the Shame Cone!

laugh.gif jk man. Bellus is easy but you have to know exactly where to cut your wick. Mess that up and you're in a hell of a time. Thankfully my time with the Cthulhu RTA prepared me for this. Mine is as dry as JimL sex life.

Crius is more to the casual builder. Easier to setup. I've been eye-banging it too for the past month. But somehow lost interest somewhere along the way..

*The Crown is kinda expensive, considering it's basically just another clearo but honestly its my best purchase within the past months

My current wick was perfect initially or so i thought, no leak, not even a drop, but as i keep it in a drawer even for a day, the moment i fire it, hell breaks loose lol. I never shut my afc off one, shud i do that when not using??

Bellus is still my fav tank to vape outdoor due to the incredible lack of clouds which i like hahahaha
*
Eh, I don't. Hell, I just keep it in my pants, all day if I'm not swapping atties. Sounds like a problem with the tank pressure, maybe. A simple change of o-ring should fix that. Or maybe, just maybe, the "or so I thought" is right on the mark.

I know from cold to hot it will leak somehow when im outside. But this has been bugging me, been using my baal more lately at home since i foreveralone no go out  laugh.gif
The o ring u mean which part's? Top fill cap stopper??
*
Safest bet, all of em need a change. Just a step of precaution. I don't even close the airflow when refill and never had a dribble.

Hence why you need to hang out more at your local B&M store. I don't really buy my things there much expect for some juices but from my time there I did make some acquaintances over times. I don't have a lot of friends who vape, but I did make some vaping buddies. Usefull when you need lab rats to test your new juices laugh.gif

Goblin M can go ahead and take a dirt nap for all I care. Who in the hell still uses a screwdriver to refill an atty?

The performance on Goblin mini is solid but that bottom fill screw is a super con for me. I also have 2 Uwell Crown tank so obviously I like em more.

Keep going back to kayfun monster v2 and russian 91%
*
Should have said "nowadays". Russian 91 and kayfun are not meant for subohms thus rarely need refilling. Still, with the top fill attys are flooding the market, what they did is just unforgiveable offence.

QUOTE(clarkblitz @ Nov 23 2015, 03:46 PM)
is there any tank that does not leak?
or at least prevent from leaking into the mod?
Don't wanna keep changing tanks every 3 months
Currently using aspire triton.

Maybe you need a Crius, preferably the v3 with velocity deck. People are saying it's fool-proof and leak-proof.

Yeah well that's kinda expected when you're using the right tools for the job but idesmond drunkly used TC coils on a wattage mode.

Kinda like using a dildo to plug a leak. It works, sure. But you'll be one dildo less in the end of the day.

Even my SS coils hancur after 24 hours on Power mode. I dont know what happen
*
That should not be happening with SS coils. Did you prime it first? I mean really really prime it. Crown coils supposedly have denser wick to them so some people used to punch holes into them for better wicking.

What mod did you use and at what wattage.

QUOTE(olivur @ Nov 23 2015, 05:21 PM)
I still don't get how these new premade coils could last 2-3 weeks if they're using organic cotton e_e

most I've pushed a coil is maybe a fortnight but not without me thinking "this. this is how I die" because the claptons were starting to look nasty and I was out of 38g nichrome. even so I changed the cotton normally every 2-3 days
*
I got a full month from my SS coils. Unless of course I'm using super sweet juices like OHW. Poor ol thing didn't even last a week. Never had a chance
