I think your coil was just too dry to play with. What I did was drip about 1ml into the coil then leave it inside the tank for a good 5-10 min to soak up. Start low, around 20w or so and then ramp it up incrementally. Usually I went through a whole tank sub 40w. The real deal starts then.

Assuming you've only burnt them using the lowest wattage, you've maybe burnt it a bit too long. You're supposed to pulse it less than a second or so. I'll just puff up again the next time you press the power button. Frankly, I don't use TC anymore. Too much of a hassle for a 5 min vape session.
