Sooner or later, they'll introduce:

1. Obelisk upgrade +10, +15, +20
2. Character upgrade to Tier 3, Tier 4, to infinity and beyond
3. Card upgrade to 8 stars, 9 stars, 10 stars

It's a very easy way to create a 'plan' for the game and keep players playing.

There are actually 2 'faction battles':

2. In-game faction battle: This is the one that asked you to choose a side in-game. The Mobirum forum is a little vague, but it looks like members of the winning team will get a different prize than the losing team. I agree that the developers are starting to get more greedy. I quit Contest of Champions after a week cos of the P2W model, and started playing Marvel Future Fight since its launch last May. I say as long as we can finish most of the content with just grinding, it won't be as bad as Contest of Champions. You can barely get anywhere in Contest of Champions without spending money.

It's the day when most of the game requires T2/T3 characters and above to do, while making it impossible to get to T2/T3 without spending money, that this game truly becomes P2W.

I'm hoping the new uniforms arrive after the current ones go off sale. Hope they don't put it in the next update... cos that will also mean no Punisher and Elektra uniforms til the update after that.

By the way, does anyone know the total number of materials for upgrading a world boss? Like the number of materials needed for gear up and rank up?

Hey has anyone had good results with using Bullseye as leader against Corvus Glaive?

I do kinda like the character, but if I invest in him he may only be useful to me for Corvus. Just wondering if it's worth it or not.

If I level any character to 60, I'll make sure their gears are at 17, fully mastered and (eventually) all skills at level 6. So if I do level Bullseye it'll be a hefty investment. Not sure if I want to go through with that.

Except Batman doesn't have split personalities haha

I say go for Thor. He has high dps, and can be farmed from story (5 bios per day), drawn by luck through the Honor Token store, and Dimension Rifts.

With Loki, anything is possible haha. And ya, it's good to have one strong character at level 60 first, then carrying other characters at higher level missions for more EXP will be easier. My personal faves for that is Angela (she can clear very fast) or Hulkbuster (he just can't die).

However, when I first started playing, I didn't know better and just chose my faves in the game: Punisher (long before his uni), Ghost Rider and Blade. Man, that was a real pain in the @ss to level. Then I remained dumb and leveled Elektra to 60...

By the way, I heard a rumour that when you unequip an old special gear (like Dodge 35% etc) with crystals, you can't equip that gear again. Can anyone confirm that?

It summons characters that have team bonuses with the one that you're using at the moment. For example, in the case of your screenshot, pressing that button will summon Thor. If you had replaced Ant Man in your team with Angela/Lady Sif, it'll summon Thor and Angela/Lady Sif.

They will come in together and do one attack each, and will only appear when there's enemies around. So you probably tried pressing that purple button with no enemies around, and saw nothing happening but a long cooldown. Happened to me before when I was trying to figure out what the button does haha.

This button is even better in World Boss - it summons all your teammates and strikers with a 30 second cooldown.

Depends. If you like the character, any uniform for it is a bonus haha.

If you're talking about uniforms that changes the character a fair bit and/or improves their utility:
Punisher
Captain America (any except Age of Ultron; it's up to your playstyle)
Black Widow (if you put dodge gear on her)
Hawkeye (if you put critical rate on him)
Deathlok (to use on Alliance Battle blast days)
Kingpin (to use on Alliance Battle blast days)
Groot (to use on Alliance Battle universal days)

If you're talking about uniforms for strong characters (which are already a good investment), and whose uniforms buff them well, it'd be:
Hulkbuster
Angela (All New All Different)
Iron Fist
Elsa Bloodstone
Sister Grimm

"Hardest" character to get would be Carnage. Only because he's behind a paywall. And to get all his gears to lvl 20, you'll have to buy 2 monthly subscriptions. Unless you have a 5 star and 6 star rank up ticket, you may only need 1 monthly subscription to max him out.

Since you already have Loki, other good, rare characters without spending any money are (from rarest to easiest-ish):
1. Sister Grimm: Free daily bio selectors, rank up tickets, Battleworld
2. Silk: Free daily bio selectors, bio selectors x10/x100, rank up tickets, Battleworld
3. Ant Man: Free daily bio selectors, bio selectors x10/x100, rank up tickets, random ally shifter in special missions, lab bio converter/warp device
4. Hulkbuster: Free daily bio selectors, bio selectors x10/x100, rank up tickets, random ally/enemy shifter in missions, Battleworld, lab bio converter/warp device

I think Ant Man can be obtained from Battleworld as well. Not sure. Out of these 4 characters, I suggest choosing Silk (if you can) for your journey of growth quest thing. You can use all your energy and daily bio selectors on Ant Man.

There will also be a new daily log-in reward event coming soon too, so you'll get either a x300 bio selector or 6 star rank up ticket. You can use that on Ant Man or Hulkbuster. Hulkbuster will be a little easier to get through the free daily bio selectors, cos of the amount of combat characters in the game. Sister Grimm will take a long time to get if you don't spend money. If you really want her, I suggest saving a 6 star rank up ticket (if you get one/have one) for her, and slowly get 310 of her bios through the free daily bio selectors.

The bio selector x10 is one of the free daily log-in rewards. The x100 is from the store, or sometimes free during events. The x8 is a free daily reward - it will roll on a character, and if you have him/her unlocked already, it changes to x8 bio selector of that character's class type (combat, blast etc). Cos of this, you will getting combat ones more frequently.

And don't worry too much about choosing Spider-Man... I think all of us have been there... at least not as bad as me - the 5th level 60 I farmed for was Elektra......

Btw, are you able to select Carnage through that journey of growth thing?

Carnage was released about 2 or 3 months ago. He's purely paywalled - only available from the monthly bio subscription for USD9.99.

And yeah I farmed Elektra because I liked the character... only to find out later that she's total crap in the game.

Spider-Man was good before... and then Silk came along. He's still decent though, just that when you get Silk, you will use her more often.

The combat bio selectors won't work on Carnage... you can only get him if you pay USD9.99. I suggest using any combat bio selectors you get on Hulkbuster... you won't regret it once he's 6 star.

I've been hoping for DD Season 2 unis for Elektra and Punisher for ages... and also hoping she gets a 6 star skill with that uni... hopefully after all this Civil War thing is over.

The new Iron Man and War Machine uniforms have the same bonus as the older ones. We'll just have to wait and see if the uniform changes any of their skills to see its worth. Just saw a video and it looks like it changes one of their skills. If not, it's purely a cosmetic decision.

As for Spidey's new uniform, the extra web could help abit in PvP (as long as your opponent is not web resist)... but I'm probably sticking to his black suit only cos I like its looks more haha

I say wait and see if the uniform changes any of the character's skills or not. Sometimes, the value of the uni is in how it changes the character, instead of the bonus. Best example of this is Punisher.

If the uni doesn't change the character much, then it's all down to looks lor. Just like Green Laser War Machine and Pepsi Cola War Machine.
