Anyone knows how does the tax imposed for trading US stocks? Let's say i have a capital gain of USD1,000 for trading and USD500 for dividend respectively, how much exactly can i get?

If you are not a tax resident in US, no capital gains tax, but 30% withholding tax on dividend.

Wah... 30% is huge..
So what i will receive is USD1,000 for capital gain, and USD350 for dividend?
