From super bear to super bull... what do you all think? The last bear has fallen... stock euphoria has come? 

This is absolutely frustrating. All the stocks that I mentioned above (except for Ta Ann) are rising today.

Well, I can't catch them all. Now I am fishing for AEON Credit, Inari Ametron, Ta Ann and United Malacca.

Always good to be optimistic.

Surely...we cannot be damn pessimistic and assume more OSV assets writedown....

Hi all gurus in lowyat,

I'm new in the market and facing a problem that would like to get some advice from you:
I hold a large amount of cash settled warrants (AairAsiaC40), and its gonna expired next week. The problem is that the current price is near to zero (I bought it when its 0.175 >_<) and the trading volume is so low that I doubt there chances for me to sell all those warrants in such a short time. May I know what would be the best way for me to cut my loss to minimum?

Your help or enlightenment is much appreciated!

p/s: I was too busy with my daily job when the price was high and I never set a stop point since I'm new. And as you know the price has been dropping ever since (T_T)

Tipsy : Never invest with debt. 



CPO has run too high and too deep, some pullback should be expected. Also USD looks to be weakening in the horizon, so CPO price expect to come down. Even at RM 2,800/ton also most plantation makes money hand over fist already.

The problem is you need a larger pool of data to be sure...
and unfortunately this can only be achieved doing fake/paper investing/trading/punting.
Doing it with real money is as stupid as it can gets...
cos as we know...
losses is like a virus...

until it totally whacks you out of the game (sometimes... some cases... it can even put one into a lifetime of debts)

But if you don't have...
Try at least look at your last 20 trades...

categorized it under investing and trading/punting....
put in your win/lose rate...

Palm oil is like fruits lah, depends on the soil, weather, rain, fertilizer etc. If good condition, then the fruits will become a lot and big, if not then you get less or smaller fruits.

As last time I said, sarawak soil is mostly peat soil, not so suitable for palm oil, hence they yield is expected to be lesser than other plantation on good soil.

Palm Oil with good soil are in these location..

1. West Peninsular Malaysia (perak region)
2. Sabah (east region)
3. Sumatera (dumai area)
4. Kalimantan (South, east and central area)

look at GenP and Innoprise, Hupseng, UP, KLK.. all have plantation in these area do..

for some setup... some traders are comfortable... they feel got good chansi to win...
for others setup.... some traders are not comfortable.... they feel got good chansi they might lose

and IN CASE you don't remember...
i dun trade every stock that comes my way...
I am ultra super selective...
cos I trade only 1 or 2 stocks per go...
so I am not gonna itchy backside and bet on every single stock...
see this is not to say all these stocks got no chansi.... in fact sometimes they do...

but I am I...
I play only to what my limited skill sets allows me to...
I am not gonna screw everything that comes my way....

Can you see the 2 long candles?

1) the long black candle and its rather high volume?

2) the stock retraced back ...  yes, the volume was lower if compare to the 2 long candles ....
BUT the worry is the VOLUME was consistently higher compared to recent times...

and yes....

I do not like such setups...

accidents can and tend to happens on setups that I am not comfortable with....

To all sifus especially Pink Spider, gark and yhtan, I have a question to ask.

I bought Old Town about 3 weeks ago. The price spiked about 30% at one point and today, my unrealised profit is about 25%.

What do you usually do in such a situation? Sell off the share and buy it back when it goes down? As we speak, Old Town is down about 1.65% due to profit taking I believe.

Any view is appreciated.

P/S: The price now is RM2.390 while my targeted price is RM2.490.
