Don't listen to Boon3. This is a forum to share. You report what you want, as long as not private or sensitive info. It is actually nice to read what others trade. Sometimes its stocks that you have not looked at and it gives a chance to have a look at it.

Boon3 does not share his trades. He is too afraid that others will take what is reported as tips and go jump into those stocks without doing any homework. He does not want to be responsible for that. I say if people want to do that and end up losing, its their problem. I think people are mature enough to make their own decision and take responsiblity for their actions. So treat all as adults here. Go ahead and share if you want.

Different people different method. People are successful with day trading or whatever you may not like or does not suit you. It does not mean they are wrong. Just they are different from you.

You are helpful in pointing out negatives of methods etc, but how about some positive reinforcement by sharing what works for you? It also may work for others here. We all learn from somewhere, books, internet, other people etc. Come teach us.

Boon3 says i3 is toxic. To a certain extent, yes, the info (more like the people) there is not reliable. But you cannot just generalize the whole thing is of no use. You can find some fair comments and discussion from some people in some places there.

Actually, some are simple. The info is in the chart itself. Example smurf's 3034. Take the latest year revenue figure of 4,891,714. Since quarterly report out yesterday, check those to see which one has that revenue figure and thats the stock. Just need some info from the chart itself to go look and match.

Much easier if people just mention the stock... What is there to hide.

There are a few ways.

That one I so happen open a few quarterly reports and saw the chart.
Sometime you can use online platform and sort by column, eg PE ratio etc.
Sometimes you can use a stock screener as someone mention few pages back.
If you have a list of stock code, stock names and some other info in a spreadsheet or database, you can find that way too.

Best method is people just say what stock when they post. Or we ask politely for the stock if they don't mention it.

I think what Boon3 means is that he only focuses on 1 or 2 stocks at a time. Not buy 10 or 20 and keep. So after selecting and buying those 1 or 2 stockes, he waits until the profit is enough and sells. Then he finds another 1 or 2 stocks (most likely different ones) and repeats.

Just doing some homework for learning purposes....

What exactly is supposed to be discussed in a "traders" thread? Is it only about TA like charts etc?
