I certainly agree with that. I managed to raise cacing cornsnakes (less than 20 grams, about 1 ft) to 20 cents coin size in less than a year, some are over 200+ grams. Yes, it is also very easy to take care especially feedings, frozen prey or live, all also can. They even during shedding period.

Regards,
Alan Hoo

Happy that you joined us here. Siokjinlim. Also good to hear that you are doing well with your BP Henry. I am a bit worried that you might stress your snake out. Too much stress is very bad for snake.

yeah, i know. only thing that worries me is that Henry is quite timid and shy, just like me.. is it normal for a BP to be so shy? Or maybe he's just stressed, because i put him in the hall... maybe too much traffic scared him... can you please advice me

its not unusual for a ball python to be shy
it could just be its Personality, or it cud be because of the area,
or bcause of the enclosure
but every other snake is different
so you cant say its normal or not
all human are different aso
if one is always shy we dun say he or she got something wrong also right
u can try 2 figure it out if its cos of the enclosure or location,

Snakes are different from cats and dogs. Snakes are not social animal. Try to relocate him to a more quite place, store room or study room will be ideal. Should not be handled for long hours and too often. Anyway, as long as he eats well, it should be fine.

Hahaha.... if possible, give him rat. Rat is the best food for him.
