network speed refer to Mega bits bro..

should write in Mbps

best way is to change into N type of router+AP..

make sure the throughput is better..

than only you will never get the stupid lag during playing

so are you able to set bandwidth limit now? for torrents is kinda impossible to use QoS, but for your games can set the ports for your PC IP to high priority.

i mean for some torrent progam like utorrent, it use random port mapping so cant properly limit the speed according to port, so the router QoS cant manage torrent bandwidth unless use hard cap on the user's IP when they torrenting.

Just go to bandwidth control, enable it. Set max egress and ingress based in your internet speed. Add rule list, put the ip range.
If it is a single ip, just keep blank the second ip part.
Keep port blank if you want to all port range.
And set the desire egress and ingress. Save.
Go do a speedtest on your own ip after setting a limit if you want to verify it is working or not.

Egress is outbound
Ingress is inbound

That model should be capable of 450Mbps wireless transfer, should not be a problem for that.
I guess you need to start playing around with QoS

i dont know whether this is the right place to ask ....so i just give it a try tongue.gif

Previously i was using UNIFI 5 and in my family there is more than 6 devices connected to the same wifi...so everytime i was playing game...i got some really high ping when they are watching video or downloading.....i thought 5mps is just not enough for 6 devices so i upgraded to 30mbps now....and the problem is still exist...so i need sifu sifu here to help me or teach me to limit speed to other devices...like 30mbps and split to 6 = 5 mbps per devices....so i can still play smooth in game...hope i can get help here  sad.gif

i have heard of QOS ....but i dont see that option in my D-Link router....so i think maybe my router dont have this feature....cause free from TM ma  tongue.gif
