i dont know whether this is the right place to ask ....so i just give it a try

Previously i was using UNIFI 5 and in my family there is more than 6 devices connected to the same wifi...so everytime i was playing game...i got some really high ping when they are watching video or downloading.....i thought 5mps is just not enough for 6 devices so i upgraded to 30mbps now....and the problem is still exist...so i need sifu sifu here to help me or teach me to limit speed to other devices...like 30mbps and split to 6 = 5 mbps per devices....so i can still play smooth in game...hope i can get help here

But do you get good ping when you are the only one using the internet? Sometimes it could be routing issue which is not within your control.

erm ya......i get good ping when im the only one using the internet....im getting high ping because my sister and brother like to download and watch video.....that will used up all the speed to download their stuff....so i want to split the speed to 6 devices equally.....5mbps per devices i think is more than enough for videos....so there is no way to control the internet speed ?
i purposely upgrade my internet plan to 30mbps...and still facing the same issues

but it seems unifi one doesnt have..so if u need control the wifi bandwidth i suggest add a cheap wireless N at least 150mbps router with IP QoS ability and use the d-link as bridged modem.

What you need is a tplink router with bandwitdh control. Im using it and yes it will limit the speed to the speed to set.

Yeah, as other suggested, there is one TPLink router with bandwidth control. The model is TL-MR3420, or something similar due to minor version revision. You will find this description as one of the features: "IP based bandwidth control allows administrators to determine how much bandwidth is allocated to each PC".

Or find another router with QoS feature. Unfortunately DLink DIR-615 provided by TM does not seem to have QoS built-in.

This is not about QoS but bandwidth control. You need router with bandwidth control.

Most P2P or Torrent software has bandwidth limit option.

Ask you families members to bandwidth limit their download during peak hours.
They can have the max download speed after midnight when no one is using the Internet.
It is a compromise way

Bro , my problem same with u..But did u encounter the line very sucks and unstable when in the night , around 7-11pm??
My line is very unstable , when i plug the lan cable to my device and do speedtest , the result show 30mpbs but when i using wifi to do speedtest but just only gt 22mpbs...Do you hv this kind of problem? i called TM but helpdesk said if using lan cable gt 30mpbs speed , then they cant do anything..

1. You need a better WiFi modem.
2. You need a decent wifi adapter.

just asked my friend....the price is abit higher than Dlink and TPlink lol.....so i end up took the TPLink TL-WR1043 which a lil look like Asus and not so expensive....

yea...i know that...but i think there is no way to control when they watching youtube i guess...and there are many guests always visit my house quite annoying when about 8 devices using the same wifi together when im playing game some of them even use my wifi to download big file apps lagi teruk...

no i nvr check that before...because i will still feel satisfied even my wifi connected device with 5mbps lol....but ya i cant get full speed when im downloading when using wifi.....i get only 1.5mb download speed only
but i think it's still ok la...1.5mbps already can watch movie without buffering already

8mbps = 1 MBps

yea ... i mean 5MBps actually lol...but its quite confusing sometime
