QUOTE(FLXM @ Jan 8 2016, 01:53 PM)
I bought JVC digital HU and 2 pairs of speakers at brothers KJ as they are doing sales huge discounts last week. I surveyed in Kedah and penang but brothers KJ outlet gives huge discounts of which I could not resist a knock of price of 50% on a similar product.

Hu Kdx 220 rm148
6.5" csv628 rm78 per pair.

PM TitanRev on how to take out the rear speakers and managed to diy on the installation of HU and rear speakers. Took me 3 hours as I run new sets of bigger speaket cables for the rear speakers and properly do the cables termination with socket connectors.

And my challenge us now on running new speaker wires to front speakers as no factory oem wires ... saga sv/ plus no front speakers. The challenge is the weather wire protector insulator is damn small and very hard to insert the wires through with very tight space to work.

Sighhhh.....
*
How did you diy the back connector of the HU? Cut and splice or you bought a harness adaptor?

I'm thinking of picking this up.

*pardon the unrotated, super big images*
[attachmentid=5737208]
the first day b4 drilling the hole

[attachmentid=5737227]
all smooth when installing on the drivers side

[attachmentid=5737250]
now for the passenger side, it is a bit tricky because after installation the door wont close properly. so an hour job becomes a 3 hour job

overall, it took about 4 hours installing from 7am to 10am on a rainy christmas morning, excluding the time taken to drill the hole on christmas eve. tired, sunburned
*
Ooooh nice mod. Good job

The brown colour stuff is rust. It's normal to have that sound during the morning or after a car wash. As your drum is wet and rust layer will build up overnight.

You coming for the generation x time attack right? I want to come kepoh abit. Give moral support ahaha

I think 1500 you can get a set of decent RE003 195/50/15 let say the price is 195each = 780 for 4. Rims you try to look for Advanti. there's a design that looks like CP035 price is about 700-800 depending on shops. You might need to stretch ur budget a bit to 2K but with trade in you can minue 200-300 bucks
*
Rm180 at bangi last I checked 2 months ago. re003 195/50.

Rm310 for my 205/45/16 vmad.gif vmad.gif

Persona confirm can fit. Go to other shop.

On the other note, cfe intake manifold has shorter runners. Not sure plug n play or not on our sagas. (I believe it is). Another poison to you ahaha.

Skunk2 intake manifold modified for Campro. Uses existing throttle body. http://www.mudah.my/vi/33327448.htm
