Wow, you have an amazing Star Wars collection there, Wobbles! rclxms.gif thumbup.gif

I'm planning on getting my favorite three spaceships and a big planet-sized station - Millennium Falcon (rare and costs a bomb, although I saw one in Legoland's BIG Shop), TIE Fighter, X-Wing Fighter, and Death Star.
Thank you bro. I've been very lucky. I got quite an extensive UCS Star Wars & Technics & City/Trains collection. Off the top of my head, these are the UCS Star Wars I have:

1. UCS Millennium Falcon 10179 - 2 sets (1 built in the pictures, 1 MISB)
2. UCS Death Star (play set) 10188 - built
3. UCS Tie Interceptor 7181 - 2 sets, both built
4. UCS X-wing (original set) 7191 - 2 sets, both built
5. UCS Imperial Star Destroyer 10030 - 3 sets, all built (damn it, I should have saved at least 1 in the box, but the temptation was too great, and it was a great build. The magnets they used to hold the shape together were simply brilliant!)
6. UCS Snowspeeder 10129 - built
7. UCS Y-wing 10134 - built
8. UCS Death Star II (the unfinished one, in ROTJ) 10143 - MISB
9. UCS Imperial AT-ST 10174 - 2 sets, 1 built, the other MISB
10. UCS Darth Vader TIE Advanced Fighter 10175 - as shown in the pictures, built
11. UCS Imperial Shuttle Tydirium 10212 - built
12. UCS Super Star Destroyer 10221 - MISB
13. UCS R2-D2 10225 - 2 sets (1 built in the pictures, 1 MISB)
14. UCS Slave I 75060 - 2 sets, both MISB
15. UCS Red X-Wing 10240 - 1 set, MISB

Gosh... now that I sit down to tabulate, no wonder my wife is so hopping mad at me!

Now that's what I call a very extensive collection of Lego Star Wars stuff, my friend! rclxms.gif

I'm thinking of getting the Millennium Falcon and TIE Fighters but while the latter is quite easily found in any Toys R Us or Hamley's store, the Falcon is definitely a rarity. Makes me regret not getting that iconic spacecraft when I saw it in Legoland (priced at $500-plus)! sad.gif

By the way, where did you get that Death Star II? Very nicely crafted model there, including all the unfinished bits! thumbup.gif
*
The Falcon comes in many guises - the two that I have have been long out of production. A MISB example on eBay can easily command USD$4000 to USD$5000 nowadays. The one which I just bought for my nephew (via Lego shop Australia - my nephew lives there) is the new release, which cost AUD249.99 (free shipping within Australia). The only thing I don't like about that is that the iconic round dish is represented by a rectangular piece instead. Which Falcon are you thinking of at $500 plus at Legoland? If it's that cheap, I wouldn't mind buying a few more for myself hahaha.

The Death Star II is also a long out of production UCS piece - I bought mine about what, 7 or 8 years ago, from Lego shop USA.

Most of my sets are from overseas, because it's way cheaper. Even Lego Australia (my main source now, because of free shipping to my family members) is cheaper!

Hmmm, I think that Millennium Falcon is going for $599.00 and it's one that comes with a square dish. I remember it being displayed in a "rare items - maximum one per person" shelf in the BIG Shop at Legoland Malaysia, but I didn't think of getting one, having spent quite a bit on admission fees and a couple of souvenirs (including the photo frame mentioned below) from the park! laugh.gif

I think one other place that still sells such end-of-life Lego Star Wars items is eBay, but most of them are used stuff though. Wonder whether it's a good idea to buy from these sellers or not? hmm.gif

However, there is something I got from Legoland which cannot be found at outside shops though - this cool picture frame that has "Legoland Malaysia" on it. Sad to say, even if it has been two weeks since we came back from JB-SG, I still haven't got the time to build the frame up yet! shakehead.gif

Nice frame bro. Quite unique, and special for Legoland Malaysia. To be honest, I haven't found time to visit yet smile.gif - really happy to have met another AFOL. Wife thinks I'm crazy, but I think I'm just reliving my youth. I tell her, it's still cheaper than a Vietnam or PRC mistress, but I don't think she's buying that excuse haha.

I like the Lightsaber. How much was it? I have the Anakin one without the removable blade.
*
Ah, now my lightsaber collection. I have the following blades:

1. Darth Vader, Hasbro Force FX (not the rubbish plastic hilt one)
2. Darth Maul, Hasbro Force FX x 2 (to make the complete set)
3. Obi Wan Kenobi, Hasbro Force FX, non-detachable blade
4. Luke Skywalker, Hasbro Force FX, detachable blade
5. Obi Wan Kenobi, Hasbro Force FX, detachable blade
6. Ultrasaber stunt saber with Obsidian sound board & green fighting blade (this one I use to whack the bangla who tried to fondle my maid, haha).

Most of these I bought from Singapore - average price is about S$199 when it first came out. However, the Ultrasaber stunt saber was USD$400 and the 2 detachable blades were gifts from friends from New York, so I didn't ask the price.

More Lego madness. As mentioned, I also have a rather extensive Technics collection - too numerous to list, and frankly, more than 80% of them are still MISB (too many plastic bits, too little time). The notable ones that I really like are like the Excavator (built & kept in cold storage already), and the Unimog (MISB) - shown in the photo below are 2 of my latest additions: the Volvo bulldozer & the Crane.

And while not related directly to Lego, since someone asked about my Lightsabers (after all, it's still Star Wars, haha), here's 3 of them:

Bro, if you don't mind me asking - where do you get this from? Eg: not from Malaysia I assume, due to the heavy plastic wrapping. biggrin.gif

Great collection you have there. Don't talk about UCS, just collecting the "normal" Star Wars collection is already crazy enough biggrin.gif yours is UCS... straight away eye-gasm.
*
Hi Terence,

Thanks for the kind comments. Most of these were bought from my travels overseas - Hong Kong, Singapore, UK, Australia & USA. Hardly any from Malaysia. The wrapping is my wife's idea - it would otherwise collect a lot of dust, according to her. I don't argue with Her Majesty. Hahah.

Or you can Jedi mind trick your wife "join the Dark side".

My wife didn't ban, but I ukur baju sendiri (one gaji for whole family - only one wife and 2 kids) thus I have missed out a lot.

Guess I have no choice but to miss the whole Speed Champions set as well as General Grevious buildavle character (4 lightsabers. Droolssssss)

You are a prudent man. That's good. I was a lot erm, careless - I collected Transformers Masterpieces, Tamiya, Dragon and resin model tank kits, Hasegawa plane kits in addition to Lego Technic, Star Wars and City/Trains sets. But my most damaging collection has to be my 4 BMWs - just wife and me, no kids, but 4 cars (since then, sold the severely underutilized F30 3 series - but kept my F02 7 series, F13 6 series and the F15 X5). She flat banned me from ever buying anything else after that.

Hi guys..am new to this lego collecting. currently am interested to get the force awaken millenium falcon that selling around rm7++ in TRU. i am also interested to get the younger version of han solo minifig. Any idea where can i get it loose? Thanks
*
For the Force Awakens Falcon, RM799 is a bit of a bargain comparatively- and this is before the usual 10% discount given, right?

For reference, Singapore sells it for $299 before 10%, while Australia sells it for AUD249 (no discount, but you get VIP points). I just sent my nephew one set, bought online from Lego Australia and with free delivery to his house (in Australia)

Are these plastic or die-cast model ?

These are die-cast models, but there's one "snap-on" kit which is plastic. I'm based in Singapore, and I have 3 cars (had to let the 4th one go because the wife was threatening to change the locks to the house) that have very thirsty appetites that I have to continually feed, and nephews that simply love collecting cars, so yeah, I should know. Hi Bigfoot-X. Nice buys. I can easily understand "Roy" and "Rayden", but "HMS"? Heheh.

I call my domestic affairs manager "Her Majesty" or "SWMBO" (She who Must Be Obeyed) - maybe HMS is a new code word I can apply for SWMBO... biggrin.gif

I just ordered technic Lego sets - the new twin rotor lift helicopter, the go kart, the racer truck and a non technic Wall-E. Will post pictures when I get them. Ordered thru Lego Australia on line - cheaper. Free shipping to my Aussie address, and since I'll be there for CNY, perfect timing smile.gif
