Actually, when I went back to check my purchases for the whole of 2014 & 2015, I was in shock as to how much I (over) spent. These were the items I bought:

QUOTE(klthor @ Jan 13 2016, 12:39 PM) That was a one-off purchase. I found that I didn't quite fancy the pirates range after that... same thing with my London bridge. That was also a one off purchase, and was tempted to get the Creator Sydney Opera House, but realised that buildings weren't my interest. |

These are the kind of sets that I enjoy building & collecting: from my personal collection - the Technic sets are in my living room, the Star Wars sets are in my basement:

QUOTE(Bigfoot-X @ Jan 13 2016, 06:23 PM) Haha, yeah. I already have display cabinets in the hall, and she refuses to let me build any in the bedrooms, so the only place I could get more display cabinets was down in the basement, just outside the lift entrance. I'm already very grateful that my poor wife allows me this indulgence. Between the 1/35th & 1/32nd plastic modelling kits, the Lego sets - Technic, Star Wars & City Trains and the car collection in the garage, she has been a very patient lady.In case she's browsing these pages: I love you many many, darling This post has been edited by wobbles: Jan 13 2016, 06:59 PM |

QUOTE(Winning11 @ Jan 13 2016, 08:57 PM) Please, my friends, I'm not here to flaunt whatever money you think I might have - I'm just very happy to be part of this great community where we can all share our passion together - be it Lego, transformers, 1/35th or other scale modeling, Star Wars or our car/motorbike/vehicle collections. I'm here in the hope that I can contribute to our common passion, that's all |

QUOTE(kingsora @ Jan 14 2016, 10:23 PM) Was about to ask for side view from your previous post on this. Thanks . Looks good! Yes, the UCS Imperial Star Destroyer has more than 3000 grey pieces, approximately 3.5 to 4 times the number of pieces of this version. It's more than a metre long in length! When I'm done building them, I'll take photos and show you The UCS one more pieces is it? |

Thanks to this wonderful, magnificent Lego thread, I went back home and started to look through my collection of Ultimate Collector Series for Star Wars Lego. Here's what I have in the cupboards:
7181 TIE interceptor x 2 sets 7191 X-wing (the old one) x 2 sets 10030 Imperial Star Destroyer x 2 sets 10129 Snowspeeder x 1 set 10134 Y-wing fighter x 1 set 10143 Death Star II x 1 set 10174 AT-ST x 2 sets 10175 Darth Vader's TIE Advanced x 1 set 10178 Motorized AT-AT x 1 set 10179 UCS Millennium Falcon x 2 sets (best investment EVER!) 10188 Death Star (playset) x 1 set 10212 Imperial Shuttle x 1 set 10221 Super Star Destroyer x 1 set 10225 R2-D2 x 2 sets 10240 Red 5 X-wing x 1 set 75060 UCS Slave I x 2 sets I'm really in a dilemma whether I should get the TIE figher 75095 or not. Frankly, I'm not impressed with the design, but it's such an iconic item in the Star Wars Universe... |

QUOTE(kingsora @ Jan 15 2016, 12:12 PM) Thanks. Cannot wait to see that in action. OK... sigh. Here is my (probably 80% complete inventory) - I'm pretty sure I got a couple of extra boxes here and there that I didn't take into account. After my Lego Star Wars UCS (I didn't even bother doing an inventory for the non-UCS items, like Jabba's sand barge, the Hoth battle scene, my non-UCS, non-motorized AT-AT etc), and after my Technic sets, the only other significant Lego theme I haven't itemized and tagged is the Lego City & Trains kits... I really don't dare. Dompet sakit sangat...
