QUOTE(Fiona Chin @ Dec 13 2015, 03:35 PM) Ang moh and asian mentality lo. I fly every Friday back home and uncontactable for half of the day, my colleague and HR file complain to my boss. Not a word heard from my boss. If my boss is ah tiong kind of mindset, I pack bag long time already. quite true. pretty much depends on Co culture.

QUOTE(Sky_Q @ Jan 21 2016, 12:52 PM) To those who daily commute in/(fro) singapore and malaysia. Can we actually avoid paying the vep fees if we use van? it seems that vep fee only applicable to cars and motorcycles.. even when i use the calculator, it also show that vep is not applicable to van.. anyone tried or have any knowledge in this? you don't think after > 20 years of VEP implementation, ppl would have thought of that? I think every single loophole on VEP have been cover. Sg don't simply use any tom, dick and harry to come up with certain rules or regulations. Those ppl are scholars, from what i heard.

QUOTE(Tally33 @ Feb 4 2016, 06:26 PM) Hi guys, may I know if i already signed offer letter with one company, but the ep application failed because they need to fulfill certain mom criteria, so they said they will reapply for me again. But meanwhile I got another offer from another company, if I were to accept the offer, what should I do? Can I just inform the first company to cancel the application for me? Just inform the first Co of your decision, compensate the Co according to whatever is written in the contract then I think you are good to move on to the 2nd Co.
