Many thanks for your kind suggestion.

Working as a freelance designer is quite risky these days. Been cheated twice before.

I'm currently doing some small online business while actively looking for jobs.

Ask for partial payment first. If your passion is in graphic design, it would be a waste to stop it.

Trust that after the CLP and chambering, your salary will certainly get a big huge jump?

You have an overall of 2 and a half year of working experience and you're already a senior executive with a salary of RM6000 ?! How lucky.

Look for roles that are generalist in nature, i.e. ones that don't require specific qualifications, and do well in assessments.

May I confirm the salary calculation for the month of September 2017.

Example:
Employment Status: Permanent Staff
Salary: Monthly
Period of Work: 05 September 2017 - 30 September 2017 (26 days)
Basic: RM1,000.00

May I know what is the formula to calculate the salary for the above staff?
Based on my HR knowledge, the correct formula is basic/no of day in a month x no. of days worked. (1,000/30x26 days)

But, one of my old single lady boss insisted and forced me to accept her formula:

basic/26 x 22 days (26 - 4 Saturdays).

really pissed me off!

Even if we think your formula is the correct way, there's no way you can change the "old-single-lady" boss of yours to accept it. Just think this way, is it wise to jeopardize your career path in this company for the x amount of money difference?

But I worked in 3 companies, they are indeed using the basic/24-26 days. I never heard any company using basic/30x24-26 days.

No.ur formula is wrong. Most standard salary calculation is basic/24-26 in here. Outside msia i not sure.

Most companies are hiring people who can get along with people too, not just in silo. You might be high-flyers with technical stuff, but how well do you do in something that beyond your KPI?

So if you have dinner, you become the event manager/MC.

If you have CSR program, U involve with people from other dept.

If you have Program 5S, safety etc. you also involve heavily in contributing something.

The more ur achievement says about being 'exploratory' and 'working with others', company would not have issue hiring a team player.
